    Abstract: A structure for preventing water from entering an interior of a vehicle through a cowl top cover is provided to enhance the comfortability of the vehicle by weight of water filled in a drain unit rotating a rotatory diaphragm member to close a passage when the water enters grill holes disposed on the cowl top cover. A structure for preventing the water from entering an interior of a vehicle through a cowl top cover comprises a cowl top cover(10), having grill holes(10a), mounted between a wind shield(5) and an engine hood along the width direction, a cowl under cover(20) coupling to an underside of the cowl top cover and forming a passage(15) between the grill holes and a chamber, and a rotatory diaphragm member(30) disposed between the cowl top cover and the cowl under cover with respect to a rotatory shaft(40) for closing the passage when the water enters the grill holes. A rib(25) disposed along the width of the cowl under cover forms a drain unit(23), and the weight of the water filling the drain unit rotates the rotatory diaphragm member, and the rotating diaphragm member closes the passage. A recoil spring is inserted into the rotatory shaft. One end of the recoil spring is combined to the cowl top cover and the other end is combined to the rotatory diaphragm member for restoring the rotation of the diaphragm member.
