Abstract: A particulate and a nitric oxide clarification plant are provided to purify NOx, CO, and HC which is not cleaned up in the LNT catalyst. A particulate and a nitric oxide clarification plant comprises a CPF filter(10) collecting the particulate in particulate matters, a LNT catalyst(20) formed in the backend of CPF filter, and a HC-SCR catalyst(30) formed in the backend of LNT catalyst. The LNT catalyst reduces the NOx. The HC-SCR catalyst is comprised of the component arousing the HC-SCR reaction.

The secondary injection system supplies reducing agent or fuel to catalyst. The controller determines an operation section according to engine RPM and fuel ejection amount under a secondary spray condition. The controller determines a secondary fuel injection pattern by applying a secondary ejection map based on the operation section. The controller purifies NOx and particulate matters by supplying fuel or reducing agent to catalyst using the secondary injection system.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A nitrogen oxide purification catalyst is provided to synthesize nitric oxide as ammonia in the first layer and be purified into nitrogen and moisture by AOC: ammonia oxidation catalyst.
