Abstract:
Procedure for producing carotenoid-solutions in an edible oil, comprises: (i) providing a carotenoid suspension in the oil; (ii) continuously heating a stream of the suspension in an edible oil to produce a hot carotenoid-solution; and (iii) cooling the hot carotenoid-solution, where the acid components available in the oil is essentially neutralized before the heating.
Abstract:
Procedure for producing carotenoid-solutions in an edible oil, comprises: (i) providing a carotenoid suspension in the oil; (ii) continuously heating a stream of suspension in an edible oil to obtain a hot carotenoid-solution; and (iii) cooling the hot carotenoid-solution, where the heating in step (ii) comprises introducing hot vapor into the stream of the suspension in the oil.
Abstract:
Procedure for producing carotenoid-solutions in an edible oil, comprises: (i) providing a carotenoid suspension in the oil; (ii) continuously heating the liquid oil stream comprising the carotenoid suspension, water and a further oil used for food, to produce a hot carotenoid-solution; and (iii) cooling the hot carotenoid-solution, where the cooling process comprises relaxing the hot carotenoid-solution in a zone with reduced pressure.
