Abstract: PURPOSE: A fuel supply apparatus of a diesel engine for preventing engine hunting and a control method thereof are provided to improve the reliability, and to prevent unnecessary consumption of fuel by restricting supply of fuel from inertia of the engine in turning off an ignition key. CONSTITUTION: A control unit receives information on turning on and off an ignition key, and the engine state measured from a crank angle sensor. Fuel is supplied to an injector(11) of a combustion chamber by pumping fuel in a fuel tank with operating a fuel pump(12) according to on-and-off state of the ignition key and the rotational state of the engine. A fuel shutoff valve(30) is formed in the front of the injector to prevent supply of fuel from a fuel line(20) to the injector in turning off the ignition key. The reliability is improved by preventing engine hunting, and the waste of fuel is prevented.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for controlling an oxygen sensor is provided to perform a feedback control when a characteristic shift down phenomenon of the oxygen sensor occurs by using a voltage filter. CONSTITUTION: It is determined whether or not amplitude of an inverted value is in a range about 0 to 1Volt(S110). If the amplitude of the inverted value is out of the range, it is determined whether or not amplitude of an inverted value is in a range about -500 to 500mVolt(S120). If the amplitude of the inverted value is out of the above range, a counting is started(S130). Then, it is determined whether or not the counting is over(S140). If the counting is over, an error of an oxygen sensor is determined(S150). If the amplitude of the inverted value is in a range of 0-1Volt, a filtering value is set to A-450mVolt.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An evaporation gas control apparatus is provided to minimize air pollution due to evaporation gas and to enhance recombustion efficiency of evaporation gas by preventing the emission of evaporation gas into the atmosphere and properly discharging evaporation gas corresponding to the amount of evaporation gas. CONSTITUTION: An evaporation gas control apparatus comprises: a closed chamber(22) connected with a fuel tank(10) and for storing evaporation gas of specific amount; a pump(21) installed between the fuel tank and the chamber; a check valve(24) preventing counterflow of evaporation gas; a purge solenoid valve(23) installed on the line between the chamber and a suction line(14), and for regulating the amount of the evaporation gas fed to the suction line; pressure sensors(25a,25b) respectively installed in the fuel tank and the chamber; and an ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(20) controlling the pump and the opening and shutoff of the purge solenoid valve. If the amount of evaporation gas is over a reference level, the ECU drives the pump to feed the evaporation gas in the fuel tank into the chamber until the pressure in the fuel tank falls under a reference level. The ECU decides the amount of the evaporation gas in the chamber corresponding to a pressure value or a temperature value. If the pressure value is over a reference level, the ECU operates the purge solenoid valve to feed the evaporation gas in the chamber to the suction line until the pressure in the chamber falls under the reference level. When the cap of the fuel tank is opened, the pressure in the tank becomes the same as the atmospheric pressure. Then, the ECU drives the pump to send the evaporation gas in the tank to the chamber. Thereby, the emission of the evaporation gas into the atmosphere is restrained. Further, recombustion efficiency of the evaporation gas is enhanced by the regulated discharge of the evaporation gas.
