Abstract: 본 발명은 하이브리드 차량의 전력변환장치 냉각 제어 방법에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 하이브리드 차량용 전력변환장치의 CAN통신 오류 판단시, 전력변환장치의 상태에 따라 온도를 예측하여 전력변환장치를 냉각하는 냉각장치를 보다 효율적으로 제어할 수 있도록 한 하이브리드 차량의 전력변환장치 냉각 제어 방법에 관한 것이다.
이를 위해, 본 발명은 캔 통신 오류 시점의 전력변환장치의 온도를 전력변환장치의 현재온도로 추정하여, 이 추정 온도에 맞는 풍량으로 냉각장치를 제어하는 단계와; 상기 전력변환장치가 과온보호로직이 실행되는 기준치인 최소동작출력치보다 큰 출력을 내는 경우, 전력변환장치의 실제 요구 냉각량이 부족하지 않은 것으로 판단하여, 냉각장치의 풍량 단수를 한 단계 아래로 제어하는 단계와; 상기 전력변환장치가 과온보호로직이 실행되는 기준치인 최소동작출력치보다 작은 출력을 내는 경우, 전력변환장치의 실제 요구 냉각량이 부족한 것으로 판단하여, 냉각팬의 풍량 단수를 한 단계 위로 제어하는 단계; 를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 하이브리드 차량의 전력변환장치 냉각 제어 방법을 제공한다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method of cooling the power converting device of a hybrid vehicle is provided to prevent the overheating of a power converting device even if there is a can communication error since the flow of cold air increases or decreases by the detecting of an output value according to a temperature protecting logic of the power converting device. CONSTITUTION: A method of cooling the power converting device of a hybrid vehicle is as follows. The temperature of the power converting device when there is a can communication error is estimated as the current temperature of the power converting device. A cooling device is controlled by air flow according to the estimated temperature. The power converting device determines that the actually required air flow of the power converting device is not insufficient if the power converting device makes greater output than the minimum output, which is the practical reference value of the temperature protecting logic. The level of the air flow of the cooling device gets lower.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for diagnosing a breakdown of a DC-DC converter are provided to save cost for judging breakdowns of MOSFETs(Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistors) of the DC-DC converter. An apparatus for diagnosing a breakdown of a DC-DC converter includes a PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) pulse generator(123), a maximum current value sensing circuit(125), a similar integral circuit(127), and a breakdown diagnosing unit(129). The PWM generator applies a PWM pulse to MOSFETs of the DC-DC converter for several milliseconds before start-up of the DC-DC converter. The maximum current value sensing circuit senses a maximum value of a current flowing on a DC link terminal(134) of the DC-DC converter for several milliseconds when the PWM pulse is applied to the MOSFETs. The similar integral circuit determines a similar integral value by integrating the current flowing in the DC link terminal of the DC-DC converter. The breakdown diagnosing unit diagnoses the breakdowns of the MOSFETs by using a ratio between the maximum current value and the similar integral value.

Abstract: A transformer heat radiation structure of a DC/DC converter is provided to reduce a manufacturing cost and increase an output density per a unit volume of the DC/DC converter. A transformer heat radiation structure of a DC/DC converter includes a core(110), a heat sink(200), and an aluminum heat radiation member(130a). A low voltage coil and a high voltage coil are wound around the core. The heat sink of a housing is contacted with a side of the core. The aluminum heat radiation member is contacted with an opposite side to the core. A heat generated from the core is radiated through the aluminum heat radiation member. An insulation material is attached to the low voltage side and the high voltage side coupled to an external part from the core. A cap pad for transferring a heat is installed on the coil having the insulation material. The aluminum heat radiation member is installed to contact with a rear plane of the cap pad. The heat generated from the coil of the low voltage side and the high voltage side is transferred to the aluminum heat radiation unit through the insulation material and the cap pad.
