    Abstract: In the present invention there are disclosed a process for preparing amines of the general formula I, wherein Re1, Re2, Re3, Re4, Re5, and Re6 represent a hydrogen atom, alkyl containing 1 to 20 carbon atoms, alkenyl containing 2 to 20 carbon atoms, alkynyl containing 2 to 20 carbon atoms, cycloalkyl containing 3 to 20 carbon atoms, alkylcycloalkyl, containing 4 to 20 carbon atoms in the alkyl moiety, cycloalkylalkyl containing 4 to 20 carbon atoms in the cycloalkyl moiety, aryl, alkylaryl containing 7 to 20 carbon atoms in the alkyl moiety or aralkyl containing 7 to 20 carbon atoms in the aryl moiety, Re1 and Re2 form together a saturated or unsaturated, bivalent alkylene chain having 2 to 12 carbon atoms and Re3 and Re5 denote alkyl containing 21 to 200 carbon atoms, alkenyl containing 21 to 200 carbon atoms or together they form a bivalent alkylene chain containing 2 to 12 carbon atoms, by reacting olefins of the general formula II, in which Re3, Re4, Re5 and Re6 are as defined above, with ammonia or primary or secondary amines of the general formula III, wherein Re1 and Re2 are as defined above, at a temperature ranging from 200 to 350 degC and a pressure ranging from 10 to 30 MPa in the presence of a heterogeneous catalyst, whereby the preparation process is characterized in that mesoporous oxide having silicon dioxide {SiOi2} is used as the main component in the form of a powder as the catalyst and its surface BET ranges from 400 do 1400 me2/g and its X-ray crystallographic reflection in the 2-theta range is from 2 to 6 degrees. So produced amine of the general formula I is then separated and the non reacted starting material II and III is recycled.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a method of preparing amines of general formula (I), in which R , R , R , R , R and R are hydrogen, C1-C20 alkyl, C2-C20 alkenyl, C2-C20 alkinyl, C3-C20 cycloalkyl, C4-C20 alkylcycloalkyl, C4-C20 cycloalkylalkyl, aryl, C7-C20 alkylaryl or C7-C20 aralkyl, R and R together form a saturated or unsaturated C3-C9 alkylene di-chain and R or R is C21-C200 alkyl or C21-C200 alkenyl or R and R together form a C2-C12 alkylene di-chain, by reacting olefins of general formula (II), in which R , R , R and R are as defined above, with ammonia or primary or secondary amines of general formula (III), in which R and R are as defined above, at temperatures of 200 to 350 DEG C and pressures of 100 to 300 bar in the presence of a zeolite catalyst, a boron beta -zeolite being used as the catalyst.
