Abstract: Methods performed by a wireless device, such as a user equipment, operating in a dormant mode comprise performing a measurement on each of a plurality of resources from a predetermined set of resources or demodulating and decoding information from each of a plurality of resources from a predetermined set of resources, such as a set of beams. The methods further include evaluating the measurement or the demodulated and decoded information for each of the plurality of resources against a predetermined criterion, and then discontinuing the performing and evaluating of measurements, or discontinuing the demodulating and decoding and evaluation of information, in response to determining that the predetermined criterion is met, such that one or more resources in the predetermined set of resources are neither measured nor demodulated and decoded. The methods further comprise deactivating receiver circuitry, further in response to determining that the predetermined criterion is met. The method further comprises receiving, in a first downlink subframe, a first Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing transmission formatted according to a first numerology and receiving, in a second downlink subframe, a second OFDM transmission formatted according to a second numerology, the second numerology differing from the first numerology.

Abstract: Techniques for enhancing performance in Industrial Internet-of-Things (IIoT) scenarios, including techniques for time-sensitive networking (TSN) and 5G wireless network integration. An example method, performed by a wireless device, comprises receiving system information (SI) from a radio base station (RBS) of a radio access network (RAN), the SI being indicative of support for TSN through the RBS, and establishing at least one TSN stream with an external data network, through the RBS. The example method further includes receiving a first timing signal from the wireless communications network, via the RBS, receiving a second timing signal from the external TSN data network to which the wireless device is connected, comparing the first timing signal to the second timing signal to determine an offset, and transmitting the offset to the wireless communications network.

Abstract: Se describe un método para un transmisor inalámbrico primario. El transmisor inalámbrico primario está configurado para participar en la transmisión a un receptor inalámbrico usando multiplexación espacial en coordinación con uno o más transmisores inalámbricos secundarios. El método comprende asignar - de una colección de recursos de sondeo de canal disponibles - respectivos recursos de sondeo de canal al transmisor inalámbrico primario y al uno o más transmisores inalámbricos secundarios, en donde cada recurso de sondeo de canal disponible se asigna como máximo a uno de los transmisores inalámbricos. Cada recurso de sondeo de canal respectivo asignado es para la transmisión de una primera señal de sondeo de canal no multiplexada espacialmente respectiva, y las primeras señales de sondeo de canal son para el seguimiento de fase de las señales transmitidas por el transmisor inalámbrico primario y/o para el seguimiento de fase de las señales transmitidas por el uno o más transmisores inalámbricos secundarios. El método también comprende transmitir, al uno o más transmisores inalámbricos secundarios, información indicativa de los recursos de sondeo de canal respectivos asignados al uno o más transmisores inalámbricos secundarios. También se describen métodos para los transmisores inalámbricos secundarios y el receptor inalámbrico, así como los correspondientes aparatos, transmisor, receptor, punto de acceso, estación de usuario, nodo de control y producto de programa informático.
