    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a door surface of good quality by forming an urethane heat insulating material from a particular composition and forming the door surface from a graft copolymer of a particular composition, a copolymer of a vinyl compound cyanide of a particular composition and an aromatic vinyl compound, and a mixture of a resin compound of a particular composition and polymethyl metacrylate. CONSTITUTION:A urethane heat insulating material is formed by polyol, a foam stabilizer, a catalyst, a foaming agent such as HCFC 132 and the like, and an isocyanate component such as an organic isocyanate of polymeric MDI. A door surface of a resin is formed by a graft copolymer which is obtained by polymerizing a mixture of a vinyl compound cyanide of 35-52 percent by weight and an aromatic vinyl compound of 48-65 percent by weight in the presence of conjugate diene based synthetic rubber, a copolymer of a vinyl compound cyanide of 35-52 percent by weight and an aromatic vinyl compound of 48-65 percent by weight, and a resin composite of 30-70 percent by weight coated with the copolymer and mixed with poly n-butylacrylate resin and polymethyl methacrylate of 70-30 percent by weight.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To acquire a strong chemical attaching property, and prevent cracks, etc., from happening by a method wherein a urethane insulating material for which a specified flon is used as a foaming agent is integrally expanded in a box-shaped space formed by a door front made of a resin, and a specified coating is applied on the surface of the door front with which the insulating material comes into contact. CONSTITUTION:The title heat insulating door 2 is constituted by integrally expanding a urethane insulating material 4 for which flon 123 or flon 141b is used as a foaming agent in a box-shaped space being formed by a door front 3 made of a resin. Also, an acryl or urethane coating 9 is applied on the surface of the door front 3, which comes into contact with the urethane insulating material 4. For the acryl or urethane coating 9, a double liquid reacting type is used, and this type is hard to swell by the flon 123 or flon 141b, which is a foaming agent, and is provided so as to work as a barrier. By this method, the door front 3 made of a resin does not receive a strong chemical attack, and the molecular chain of the resin is prevented from being broken, and cracks are prevented from being made.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the trouble in the assembly work of an insulation casing for a refrigerator or showcase that vibration involved in the assembly causes loosening of a radiating pipe, which is fixed to the back of the insulating space by strips of aluminum foil tape, and results in obstruction to the flow of expandable insulating material or in impairment of the cooling effect because of contact of the radiating pipe with the inner casing causing its heating during cooling so that an insulation casing with good radiating efficiency may be produced. CONSTITUTION:After fixing a radiating pipe 8 to the back 7 of an insulation casing 1 by strips of aluminum foil tape 9, the radiating pipe 8 and the aluminum foil tape 9 are fixed by bands 11 passed through injection holes 5 in order not to allow vibration involved in the assembly work to loosen the radiating pipe 8 and aluminum foil tape 9; then the outer casing 3 and the inner casing 2 are put together. Immediately before injecting expandable insulating material through the injection holes 5, the bands 11 are removed and then the expandable insulator is injected into the insulating space 4.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the inflating deformation of an outer case during cooling operation as well as the inflating deformation of an inner case upon stopping the cooling operation by a method wherein the tape of aluminum foil, on the surface of which an urethane film is laminated previously, is employed for fixing a heat radiating pipe for the outer case of a heat insulating box body, which is made of a steel sheet, and a cooling pipe to an inner case made of plastics. CONSTITUTION:An urethane film 11 is laminated on the surface of the tape 4 of aluminum and is bonded strongly to a foamed insulating material 9 while the tape 4 of aluminum, on which an adhesive material 5 is laminated, is bonded to an outer case 2 made of a steel sheet and an inner case 6 made of a plastic. Accordingly, the foamed insulating material 9 will never be separated from the aluminum foil tape 4 because of the interposition of the urethane film 11 even when the aluminum foil tape 4 follows to the expansion of the outer case 2, made of a steel sheet, or the contraction of the inner case 6, made of a plastic, whereby any gap between both parts will never be produced. According to this method, the inflating deformation of the outer case 2 during cooling operation, which is generated by the stagnation of foaming agent in the foamed insulating material in the gap, or the inflating deformation of said inner case 6, which is generated by the expansion of the stagnated foaming agent due to a temperature rise near said inner case 6 upon stopping the cooling operation, may be prevented.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the corrosion of the end face of an outer plate even when moisture in atmosphere invades through a gap between the outer plate and a frame member by a method wherein only the end face of the outer plate is coated with thermoplastic resin having rust proof effect after cutting the outer plate from a raw fabric to a predetermined size. CONSTITUTION:An outer plate 2 is cut to a predetermined size from a raw fabric and only the end face 11 thereof is heated by a heating roller 16 to coat the end face with thermoplastic resin 17 having rust proof effect through fusion welding by contacting it. The end face 11 and the vicinity thereof of the outer plate 18 is coated with the thermoplastic resin 17 through fusion welding and the outer plate 18 is incorporated into a frame member 5 and an inner plate 3 to make a heat insulating door 1 while a sealed space 4 is filled with foamed insulating material 19. When the end face 11 of the outer plate 2 is coated with the thermoplastic resin 17, such as EVA or the like which is provided with rust proof effect, by fusion welding through contact, the exposed surface 20 of an iron sheet 10 at the end face 11, the deteriorated part 21 of adhesion of coating 6 on the surface or the adhesion of a film and the deteriorated part 22 of adhesion of coating on the rear side are not contacted with moisture 12 when the moisture 12 in atmosphere has invaded through a gap 13 between the outer plate 2 and the frame member 5 due to cooling operation, whereby the corrosion of the end face 11 of the outer plate 2 may be prevented.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the processes and time in manufacturing heat insulated doors by applying the hot spray of thermally plastic resin to the edge of the outer panel and proximity thereof after setting a masking material by using a jig, and, after installing the inner panel and frame members, filling the closed space with foam heat insulating material. CONSTITUTION:The outer panel 2, cut from the roll sheet 11 in a specified size, is held in place with a jig 15 by its edge 12, and the edge 12 and its proximity are covered with thermally plastic resin 16 in such a manner that thermally plastic resin 16 is hot sprayed thereto. After covering the edge 12 and its proximity of the outer panel 2 of the heat insulated door 1 and installing the frame member 4 and the inner plate 3, foam heat insulating material 6 is filled in the closed space 5. In order to apply the corrosion-resistant material only to the edge 12 and the proximity of the outer panel 2 of the heat insulated door 1, it is held in place with a jig 15 for masking purpose, and then, the hot spray of thermally plastic resin 16 is applied. Therefore, the masking is simplified, and, as the hot spray of thermally plastic resin 16 hardens in about 15 seconds, processes and working time can be reduced.
