Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent deformations attributable to contractions of foam insulation materials, and enhance assembling work efficiency in an insulated box member used as a refrigerator or a show case. CONSTITUTION:A slab made by slicing a waste material, such as an expanded material is compressed and formed with a press. A spacer 10 made of a compressed high density insulation material whose foams are completely crushed is pasted on the internal surfaces of an inner box 2 or an outer box 2 which are matched with a part 6 of a wall thickness between the outer box 2 and the inner box 3 which changes dramatically compared with the thickness of the surrounding wall.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate separating and decomposing processes at the time of exhausting and to expedite recyclizing of a material by incorporating a foamed heat insulator between an inner box and an outer box, and interposing a mold release sheet between the inner, outer boxes and the insulator. CONSTITUTION:A heat insulation box used for a refrigerator, a display case, etc., is formed by incorporating a foamed heat insulator 4 between a plastic inner box 2 and an outer box 2 brought into contact with an iron plate, and comprises a mold release sheet 5 interposed between the inner, outer boxes 2, 3 and the insulator 4 on the entire surface. As the sheet 5, a paraffin sheet, a PVC sheet, a PP sheet, a PE sheet, etc., having no adhesive properties with the insulator 4 is used. The box 2 is covered on its outside with the sheet 5 before the insulator 4 is injected, and the sheet 5 is inserted along the inside of the box 4. When the boxes 2, 3 processed in this manner are engaged, the sheet 5 is simultaneously caulked to be assembled.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To bond a cap door with a urethane insulation material firmly and enhance structure strength by planting hair all over the surfaces which come in contact with the urethane insulation material of the resin-made cap door in the U-shaped cross section. CONSTITUTION:An insulation door comprises a door front iron sheet 3, a U-shaped cross section cap door which is injection-molded with Freon 123-resistant resin or Freon 141b resistant resin and an urethane insulation material 6 which uses as a foaming agent Freon 123 or Freon 14b integrally expanded in a box-shaped space comprising the cap door 7 and the iron sheet 3. After a bonding agent 10 is applied to the whole surface which comes in contact with the insulation material 6 of the cap door 7, there fixedly adheres a planted air surface 9, which comprises natural fiber and chemical fiber-made short fiber according to an electric hair planting process. The penetration of the planted hair into the insulation material 6 makes it possible to bond the insulation material 6 with the cap door 7 based on the anchor effect physically and powerfully as well.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the formation of rigid polyurethane foam of low density and low compression strength by providing a door front iron sheet and a reinforcing plate made of an insulated iron sheet and expanding integrally a rigid polyurethane foam insulating material in a box-shaped space between the door front iron board and the reinforcing plate. CONSTITUTION:In the door of this refrigerator, a reinforcing plate 3 is covered with a rigid urethane foam-made insulation material 6 where a rigid polyurethane foam insulation material 4 is integrally expanded in a box-shaped space which comprises the reinforcing plate 3 covered with the insulation material 6 and a door front iron sheet. The reaction heat of the rigid polyurethane foam 4 is arranged not to hinder the formation of foams of the rigid polyurethane foam insulation material 4 even near the reinforcing plate 3 since this construction reduces the heating value absorbed by the reinforcing plate 3 cut off by the rigid polyurethane foam insulation material 6. More specifically, this construction prevents the formation of low density and low compression polyurethane foam and provides a favorable outside view.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a door with little increase in weight thereof without losing clearance by simultaneously laminating and fixing a plurality of transparent plastic plates in a tightly closed space between transparent glass plates inside and outside the door through a laminating/fixing plate. CONSTITUTION:Transparent glass plates 1 are disposed on the inside and outside of a door, and a transparent plastic plate 2 comprises a material such as acryl, polycarbonate, stylene, and ABS, etc. A plurality of the transparent plastic plates 2 are spaced away between the transparent glass plates 1 inside and outside the door. A laminate fixing frame 3 laminates and fixes via an interval adjusting spacer 4 the plurality of the end edges of the transparent glass 1 and the transparent plastic plates 2 both being plate-shaped structures. A tightly closed space 5 is a space between the transparent glass plate 1 and the transparent plastic plate 2 and serves as a heat insulating layer. The transparent plastic plate 2 has a specific gravity of 1.0-1.4, and the transparent glass plate 1 2.2-3.7, whereby the door can be made light-weight.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the remarkable decrease of performance of a thermoelectric effect element due to heat transfer caused by convection and radiation of air flowing through a space between thin plates from the side of a thin plate having exothermic action to the side of a thin plate having endothermic action, by filling foaming thermal insulation material in the space between the two thin plates. CONSTITUTION:Foaming thermal insulation material 7 like rigid urethane foam and phenol foam is filled between two thin plates 2. In order to obain excellent filling property in a thin gap, reactivity of the above thermal insulation material 7 has a gel time of about 90 seconds which is slower than the general-purpose material for a refrigerator and the like by a little less than 30 seconds. Its thermal conductivity has thermal insulation property of about 0.0140 (Kcal/mhr deg.C). By filling the foaming thermal insulation material in the space between the two thin plates 2 of the thermoelectric effect element 1, the transferring quantity of heat from the side of the thin plate 2 having exothermic action to the side of the thin plate 2 having endothermic action can be remarkably reduced. By using the forming thermal insulation material 7 of the lower thermal conductivity, the performance of the thermoelectric effect element is the more improved.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for dies, etc., and to eliminate the need for a vulcanization stage as well by putting an expandable plastic, water and antifreezing agent into a thermoplastic and sealing the same. CONSTITUTION:The expandable plastic 5 such as soft urethane foam having open cells and the water 6 contg. the antifreezing agent such as diethylene glycol are sealed into double bags 4 made of a thermoplastic resin. A heat mass 3 obtd. in such a manner has the specific heat larger than the specific heat of rubber and requires the smaller weight to obtain the heat mass having the same heat capacity as the heat capacity of the heat mass made of rubber. The needs for dies, etc., is eliminated. The manufacture of the heat masses having the various heat capacities can be executed simply by changing the size of a cylinder 7 and changing the volume of the water 6 mixed with the diethylene glycol to be put into the double bags 4 without the need for the vulcanization stage. The heat mass is thus supplied at the lower cost than the conventional rubber heat mass.
