    Abstract: PURPOSE: An integrated motor driven power steering system is provided to function as tilt and telescopic ECU(Electronic Control Unit) through an MDPS(Motor Driven Power Steering System) ECU and to supply power for tilt and telescopic adjustment using an MDPS motor for assisting steering power. CONSTITUTION: An integrated motor driven power steering system comprises one MDPS ECU(70), one MDPS motor(2), a reducer(3), a power conversion unit(10), a telescopic unit(50), and a tilt unit(60). The MDPS ECU receives the signal of the sensor for sensing a steering condition. The MDPS motor assists steering power by operating under the control of the MDPS ECU. The reducer delivers the power of the MDPS motor to the steering column(1a) which is wrapped by a column tube(1). The power conversion unit converts the power for telescopic and tilt routes by dispersing the power of the MDPS motor. The telescopic unit pushes or pulls a steering wheel in respect to a driver using the power of the MDPS motor. The tilt unit tilts up or down in respect to the driver using the power of the MDPS motor.

An insulator(14) is fixed in a coupling part of the horn plate and the bolt.
