Abstract: Method for detecting movements through a micro-electric-mechanical sensor, having a fixed body and a moving mass, forming at least one first and one second detection capacitor, connected to a common node and to a first, respectively a second detection node and having a common detection capacitance at rest and a capacitive unbalance in case of a movement. The method includes the steps of: feeding the common node with a constant detection voltage of predetermined duration; generating a feedback voltage to maintain the first and the second detection node at a constant common mode voltage; generating a compensation electric quantity, inversely proportional to the common detection capacitance at least in one predetermined range; supplying the compensating electric quantity to the common node; and detecting an output quantity related to the capacitive unbalance.

Abstract: A method for digital-to-analog conversion of a digital input code into a first output analog signal and a second output analog signal to be supplied to a first terminal and a second terminal, respectively, of an audio load, the conversion being performed by means of a DAC with N-level balanced output, the conversion method includes using N/2 positive generator elements supplying respective positive elementary contributions which are nominally equal to one another, and N/2 negative generator elements supplying respective negative elementary contributions which are nominally equal to one another and, in absolute value, equal to the positive elementary contributions; attributing the same progressive addresses to the positive generator elements and to the negative generator elements; defining a first index for the positive input codes and a second index for the negative input codes; and, in the presence of an input code at the input of the DAC, selecting between the first index and the second index, the index corresponding to the sign of the input code; activating a first set of positive generator elements and a second set of negative generator elements, the number of the positive generator elements activated and the number of the negative generator elements activated being equal to one another and proportional to the input code, and the addresses of the positive generator elements activated and of the negative generator elements activated being a function of the selected index; generating the first output analog signal by summing the positive elementary contributions supplied by the positive generator elements activated, and generating the second output analog signal by summing the negative elementary contributions supplied by the negative generator elements activated; and updating the selected index according to the input code.

Abstract: The present invention refers to a completely differential operational amplifier of the folded cascode type. In one embodiment the completely differential operational amplifier of the folded cascode type comprises: a differential output stage (15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 21, 22); a differential input stage (11, 12) able to drive said output stage (15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 21, 22); said differential output stage (15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 21, 22) includes a first branch (15, 16, 17, 18) having at least a first (16) and a second (17) transistor, and a second branch (19, 20 21, 22) having at least a third (20) and a fourth (21) transistor; said first (15, 16, 17, 18) and second (19, 20 21, 22) branch are coupled to a first (VDD) and to a second (GND) feeding voltage; a feedback circuit (40) of said first (16), second (17), third (20) and fourth (21) transistors; characterized in that said feedback circuit (40) is constituted by a single amplifier (40) having four inputs (IN1, IN2, IN3, IN4) and four outputs (OUT1, OUT2, OUTS, OUT4), said four inputs (IN1, IN2, IN3, IN4) take the voltage present on a terminal (23, 13, 24, 14) of said first (16), second (17), third (20) and fourth (21) transistors, and said four outputs (OUT1, OUT2, OUT3, OUT4) provide each a voltage to the control elements of said first (16), second (17), third (20) and fourth (21) transistors, which depend on the value of the input voltage of said four inputs (IN1, IN2, IN3, IN4).

Abstract: A method for detecting displacements of a micro-electromechanical sensor (101) including a fixed body (3) and a mobile mass (4), forming at least a first sensing capacitor (107) and a second sensing capacitor (108), which are connected to a first input terminal (102) and, respectively, to a first output terminal (104) and to a second output terminal (105) of the sensing circuit and have a rest common sensing capacitance (Cs). The method includes the steps of: closing a first negative-feedback loop (136), which comprises the first sensing capacitor (107) and the second sensing capacitor (108) and a differential amplifier (124); supplying to at least one input (124b) of the differential amplifier (124) a staircase sensing voltage (Vs) through driving capacitors (121, 122) so as to produce variations ( DELTA Vc) of an electrical driving quantity (Vc) which are inversely proportional to the common sensing capacitance (Cs); and driving the sensor (101) with the electrical driving quantity (Vc) .
