Abstract: PURPOSE: A control apparatus and method for a hybrid oil pump of a vehicle are provided to receive various data through a TCU connection line when a CAN communication line is damaged. CONSTITUTION: A control apparatus for a hybrid oil pump of a vehicle comprises a power supply unit(10), a central processing unit(20), a motor controller(30), a motor driver(40), a motor velocity sensor(60), and a TCU connection line(80). The power supply unit outputs voltage proper for each driver component by eliminating noises. The central processing unit receives engine RPM of the vehicle through the CAN(Controller-Area Network) transceiver in a TCU(Transmission Control Unit), outputs a PWM(Pulse-width modulation) control signal indicating the target RPM of a drive motor for an external oil pump according to stored conditions, and performs PID control for an error by receiving the actual PRM of the motor as feedback. The motor controller transmits a feedback signal of the actual motor RPM to the central processing unit and drives the motor by combining the PWM control signal and a switching signal output from the central processing unit. The motor driver transmits the PWM signal of the motor controller to the motor by turning on the gate of an FET(Field effect transistor). The motor velocity sensor senses the hole of the rotor and detects the velocity of the motor from the motor output phase, and then outputs sensing signals to the motor controller. In case an error occurs in CAN transmitter and receiver, data is transmitted through the TCU connection line between the TCU and the central processing unit.
