Abstract: PURPOSE: An active drug delivery system using bacteria is provided to recognize specific target and to treat using bacteria. CONSTITUTION: An active drug delivery system using bacteria contains bacteria having targeting ability and a biodegradable/biocompatible isomeric microbead containing drug capsule and bacteria capsule. The bacteria are Salmonella typhimurium. The bacteria target solid cancer including colorectal cancer and breast cancer. The bacteria also treat ischemic diseases. The bacteria easily removed by suicide gene or antibiotics.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A spinal surgery method based on an image and a spinal prosthetic device are provided to prevent spinal damage by forming a spinal prosthetic device made of polymer based materials according to the spinal shape of each patient. CONSTITUTION: A spinal image is obtained by using an imaging method like CT, X-ray, and MRI(S101). A continuous image is restored to a three dimensional image(S102). Each image of bone, muscle, and nerve is extracted by a segmentation method(S103). The cause of a lesion is analyzed and a treatment is selected based on the extracted three dimensional image(S104). A customized spinal implant prosthetic device is designed by using the three dimensional image(S105). A model is tested by inserting the customized spinal implant prosthetic device into the spine of the patient on the three dimensional image(S106). The customized spinal implant prosthetic device is made(S107). The customized spinal implant prosthetic device is fixed to the lesion part of the spine of the patient(S108). The temperature of the customized spinal implant prosthetic device is activated by the body temperature of the patient(S109). The result is confirmed by obtaining a spine surgical image(S110).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A 3D electromagnetic driving device is provided to freely move in the blood vessel of a human body through the stable position control and drilling of a micro robot. CONSTITUTION: A 3D electromagnetic driving device comprises a pair of first Helmholtz coils(HC1), a pair of second Helmholtz coils(HC2), a pair of third Helmholtz coils(HC3), a pair of first Maxwell coils(MC1) and a pair of second Maxwell coils(MC2). The first to third Helmholtz coils are respectively fixed in parallel to an x-y axis plane, a y-z axis plane, and a z-x axis plane. The first Maxwell coil is fixed in parallel to the z-x axis plane. The second Maxwell coil is arranged perpendicularly to the disposition of the first Maxwell coil and the rotation of the second Maxwell coil is restricted around a y axis.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A three-dimensional electromagnetic driving device is provided to perform three-dimensional displacement control of a micro robot by regulating the rotation degree of a coil module. CONSTITUTION: A three-dimensional electromagnetic driving device comprises a plane moving unit and a rotating and moving unit. The plane moving unit moves a micro robot on a plane and comprises coil modules(110,160) which are repetitively arranged at regular angles around a space(S). The coil modules are made of at least a pair of Helmholtz coils and a pair of Maxwell coils. The rotating and moving unit rotates or moves the micro robot by rotating one of the coil modules forward or reversely around a central axial line(X) of the other.
