Abstract: The present invention relates to a friction compensation device of an MDPS system and a method thereof and provides the friction compensation device of the MDPS system and the method thereof which secures steering feel and restoration performance of same level at the time of tuning by performing compensation control through a MDPS logic so that a steering wheel performance of a vehicle is unaffected to frictional force of a component. The friction compensation device of the MDPS system comprises; a friction gain table in which a friction gain value according to frictional force and vehicle speed is recorded; a damping gain table in which a damping gain value according to the frictional force and the vehicle speed is recorded; a frictional calculation unit which produces frictional force by calculating steering torque according to a steering angle of the vehicle; a friction compensation unit which searches a friction gain corresponding to the frictional force produced in the frictional calculation unit based on the friction gain table and applies the friction gain to a motor driven power steering (MDPS) control logic; and a damping compensation unit searches a damping gain corresponding to the frictional force produced in the frictional calculation unit based on the damping gain table and applies the damping gain to the MDPS control logic. Abstract: PURPOSE: A wheel alignment apparatus of an electromotive power steering vehicle and a method thereof are provided to align wheels of a vehicle by the simple switching operation. CONSTITUTION: A wheel alignment apparatus of an electromotive power steering vehicle is composed of a switch module(20), a steering controller, and a universal joint(9). The universal includes a changeover switch(21) equipped with an operating knob. The steering controller applies he current value which according two current values with each other to an electromotive power steering motor(8) by comparing the current value about the operation signal of the changeover switch and the current value about the toque value of a toque sensor. The universal joint transmits the reduced rotation power supplied through the electromotive power steering motor to a pinion driving a rack.

Abstract: A shimmy-damper for a steering gear box is provided to adjust the cross section of a bidirectional disc in order to reduce shimmy. A shimmy-damper for a steering gear box comprises: a mounting groove(22) concavely formed from the center to the outside; a damper housing(20) whose inner surface has a spring fixing protrusion(24); a disc(30) with a plurality of through-holes(34); a spring(40) mounted between the fixing protrusion and the disc. The disc is mounted on the mounting groove of the damper housing. A penetration hole(32) is formed in the center of the disc. The penetration hole has smaller diameter than the through-hole. A stepped part is formed on the boundary of where the mounting groove is formed.

Abstract: A device for uniformly distributing EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation) gas is provided to reduce nitrogen oxides in each cylinder, to reduce PM(Particulate Matters), and to improve drivability of the vehicle and NVH(Noise, Vibration, Harshness) through to stabilization of combustion of each cylinder, by uniformly distributing EGR gas to each cylinder. In a device for uniformly distributing EGR gas, an EGR pipe is combined in the middle of an intake manifold. The device for uniformly distributing EGR gas has a hollow housing(1) formed in a circular shape to be fitted in the middle of the intake manifold. An inlet parts(2) to which the EGR pipe is combined is formed to a side of the housing and a flow passage in which EGR gas flowing through the inlet part flows is formed to the inside of the housing in an annular shape. Plural exhaust protrusions(4) are protruded inward on the inner peripheral surface of the housing, and an exhaust hole(5) connected to the flow passage is formed through the exhaust protrusion. EGR gas is supplied to the central part of the intake manifold through the exhaust hole of the exhaust protrusion and is uniformly distributed to each cylinder.
