    Abstract: PURPOSE: A radiator insulator for a vehicle is provided to improve buffering without lowering of vibration absorption from aging of the insulator, and to insulate noise by absorbing impact with compressing air in a compressed air chamber in vibrating up and down the radiator. CONSTITUTION: A radiator insulator comprises a compressed air chamber(13) containing and flowing compressed air in and out, and absorbs shock by compression of air in vibrating the radiator. The compressed air chamber is composed of an upper cylindrical insulator cap(17) composed of an air flow hole(14) closed in the upper part and a flange(15) opened in the lower part, and inserted to a vehicle body bracket(16), and a lower flat insulator cap(19) combined with the inside of the upper cap, placed in the lower flange of the upper cap, moved up and down and integrally assembled with a mounting pin(12) of the radiator by a pin connecting body(18).

CONSTITUTION: A buffer supporting device of a lower tank(3) for a radiator(1) is composed of a supporting plate(7) combined with the bottom of the lower tank by a screw; a shaft(8) protruded vertically in the lower part of the supporting plate; a buffer supporting plate(9) having an upward protruded combination shaft(10) including a guide hole(11) containing the shaft, and a fitting shaft(14) extended in the lower part; a buffer spring(13) inserted between the supporting plate and the buffer supporting plate to support load of the radiator; a rubber insulator(15) containing the fitting shaft, and supporting the lower part of the buffer supporting plate; and a radiator installation lower bracket fixing the rubber insulator. Vibration and noise are absorbed with compressing and expanding the rubber insulator, and impact is relieved with vibrating up and down by compressing the buffer spring in moving up the buffer supporting plate within the large range of frequency band.
