Abstract:
PURPOSE: An enzyme treated welsh onion extract composition containing a natural antioxidant active material obtained by enzymatic treatment of Welsh onion(Allium fistulosum) and then hot air drying or freeze drying thereof is provided. It can be effectively used as an antioxidant functional material having disease preventing and aging inhibiting function. CONSTITUTION: A Welsh onion extract is subjected to an enzymatic treatment with Celluclast(Novo Co.) and Viscozyme(Novo Co.) and then hot air-dried or freeze-dried. The Welsh onion extract composition contains an antioxidant material such as 4-hydroxybenzoic acid, 4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzoic acid, 3,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid, 3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoic acid, 3,4-dihydroxycinnamic acid having antioxidant activity.

PURPOSE: Provided are a Rubus coreanum fruit juice composition which has antioxidative function and contains, as natural antioxidants, 4-hydroxybenzoic acid, 4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzoic acid, 3,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid, 3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoic acid, and 3,4-dihydroxycinnamic acid and a preparation method thereof. CONSTITUTION: A Rubus coreanum fruit juice composition having antioxidative function is characterized by containing, as natural antioxidative matters, 4-hydroxybenzoic acid, 4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzoic acid, 3,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid, 3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoic acid, and 3,4-dihydroxycinnamic acid which have radical scavenging activity and antioxidative function.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A novel natural antimicrobial substance isolated from the stalk and leaf of Hovenia dulcis Thunb and an isolating method thereof are provided. Therefore, the novel natural antimicrobial substance, hovenidine B6, having pyridine structure can be found. CONSTITUTION: The novel natural antimicrobial substance, hovenidine B6 is isolated from the stalk and leaf of Hovenia dulcis Thunb by the steps of: heat-extracting the stalk and leaf of Hovenia dulcis Thunb; centrifuging the extract and freeze-drying the supernatant to obtain the extract powder; concentrating the methanol filtrate under reduced pressure to obtain methanol extract; adding a weak alkali buffer and ethylacetate into the methanol extract to divide a liquid fraction and an ethylacetate neutral fraction, and adding ethylacetate into the liquid fraction to obtain ethylacetate acid fraction; subjecting the above fractions to silica gel adsorption column chromatography using ethylacetate-methanol solution to obtain an active fraction; subjecting the active fraction to gel filtration chromatography using Sephadex LH-20 column; and subjecting the purified fraction to reverse HPLC using methanol-water solvent to isolate hovenidine B6.

PURPOSE: A novel natural antibacterial compound separated from the root of Pulsatilla Koreana Nakai and its separation method are provided, wherein the compound is named after pulsaquinone and can be used as a lead compound for preparing the various active material. CONSTITUTION: The antibacterial compound named pulsaquinone is represented by the formula 1. The separation method comprises the steps of: vacuum-evaporating the methanol extract of the dry root of Pulsatilla Koreana Nakai to obtain the extract to collect the aqueous part; partitioning the extract with weak alkali buffer and ethyl acetate; controlling the aqueous part to be weak acidic; partitioning the aqueous part with ethyl acetate; eluting the active partition from the ethyl acetate extract by the silica gel adsorption chromatography with ethyl acetate and methanol with increasing the content of methanol gradually; eluting the active material from the active partition by the silica gel adsorption chromatography with ethyl acetate and chloroform; and obtaining pulsaquinone from the active material by carrying out the Sephadex LH-20 chromatography, the silica gel partition column chromatography, the reverse HPLC using methanol-water gradient system and the reverse HPLC in order.

PURPOSE: A tea leaf catechin contained wet tissue producing method is provided to protect a skin from aging and inflammation by adding catechins of tea leaves with antibiosis and acid resistance. CONSTITUTION: A wet tissue comprises an unwoven fabric or pulp with purified water, a keratin remover, a surfactant, a moisturizer, a perfume and a pH control agent. Herein, 0.5 to 2% of catechins of tea leaves is added to the soluble additions. 40ml of the soluble additions is included per 10 pieces of wet tissues so that 20mg to 80mg of catechins is included per wet tissue. Therefore, when using the wet tissue, a user expects a skin to be protected from aging and inflammation with the antibiosis and acid resistance of the catechins.

PURPOSE: A method for extracting benzoic acid having a strong effect on inhibiting the growth of a microorganism from a pine needle and a microorganism growth inhibiting agent composition containing the pine needle extracts are provided. Whereby, the obtained composition has low toxicity while having sterilizing and preservative action. CONSTITUTION: This extraction method of benzoic acid comprises the steps of: washing a pine needle with hexane and extracting with ethyl acetate; obtaining an ethyl acetate soluble acidic fraction by distributing the ethyl acetate extracts into ethyl acetate and a phosphoric acid buffer solution; fractioning the ethyl acetate soluble acidic fraction into hexane and an ethyl acetate mixed solvent; and performing silica absorption chromatography and Cephadex LH-20 column chromatography of hexane-ethyl acetate soluble fraction.

본 발명은 청록색계 색소의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 좀더 상세하게는 치자열매로 부터 조제된 치자황색소를 미생물의 배지에 첨가 배양하여 청록계 색소를 제조하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 목적은 미생물의 변환능력을 이용하여 치자 황색소로 부터 청록계의 색소를 제조하는 방법을 제공함에 있다. 즉, 본 발명은 스트렙토코거스속(Streptococcus sp.), 스타필로코커스속(Staphylococcus sp.), 락토바실러스속(Lactobacillus sp.), 비브리오 속(Vibrio sp.), 살모넬라속(Salmonella sp.), 슈도모나스 속 (Peudomonas sp.) 또는 바실루스속(Bacillus sp.)에 속하는 미생물배지에 치자황색소 추출물을 첨가 배양하여 청녹색계 색소를 제조하는 방법임을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 의하면 미생물에 의해 치자황색소가 청녹색계색소로 변환되어 청녹색계 색소를 제조할 수 있으며, 치자황색소의 청녹색계색소로의 변환은 미생물에 따라 변환능을 갖는 미생물과 변환능이 없는 미생물 로 나뉘어지고, 변환능이 있는 미생물도 균주에 따라 변환양상의 차이를 나타내어 미생물이 갖는 변환능력의 유무와 변환양상의 차이는 미생물의 식별 및 확인방법으로 이용될 수 있다.

본 발명은 밤나무 잎을 원료로 한 차(茶) 및 음료의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 밤나무 잎으로부터 중열 또는 발효, 풍냉, 건조, 분쇄, 미분말화 등의 과정을 거쳐 밤나무 잎으로 된 증제차, 중제유념차, 증제가루차, 발효유념차, 반발효유념차 등을 제조할 수 있으며, 이렇게 제조된 차의 열수 추출액을 음료화함으로써 밤나무 잎을 유용하게 이용할 수 있다.

본 발명은 차엽의 카테킨을 포함하는 김치 산패 억제제 및 그의 제조 방법에 관한 것으로, 차엽을 열수로 추출하고, 추출액을 클로로포름으로 세척하고, 물 분획을 에틸아세테이트로 분배시킨 후 에틸아세테이트 분획을 농축하여 유기 용매를 제거하고, 농축물을 물에 녹여 동결건조시키는 단계를 포함하는 방법에 의해 제조된 카테킨은 김치에 첨가시 김치 발효 관련 미생물, 특히 김치산패 관련 미생물의 생육을 억제하여 김치의 산패를 효과적으로 억제할 수 있다.
