Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a semiconductor device in which AN additional outside chip selection controlling circuit is not necessary in order to improve a chip selection terminal and to constitute a simple decoding circuit inside the semiconductor device. CONSTITUTION: A decoding logic circuit 40 equipped with plural chip selection terminal pairs or the like for selecting a single semiconductor element chip corresponding to the logical combination of an extended address is constituted inside the semiconductor element chip or the like. The decoding logic circuit 40 includes inside logic circuits 30 or the like in the same number as that of the selected semiconductor element chips or the like. Also, the decoding logic circuit 40 includes a module selection terminal (cs) for selecting the overall modules. The inside logic circuit 30 includes a first logic designating circuit 10a which maintains a prescribed logical state and a second logical state circuit 10b which maintains the logical state opposite to that of the first logic designating circuit 10a.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide an automatic power supply cutoff control device that can extend the life of a rechargeable battery and a communication time by automatically breaking a power supply, when a portable communication device is not receiving or transmitting data. CONSTITUTION: An automatic power supply cutoff control circuit consists of a first flip-flop 2 that is connected to the signal reception terminal of a communication device and is connected to a call-processing tone detector 1 for detecting a specific person that is provided by an exchanger for constantly applying power supply, a second flip-flop 6 that is connected to a talk terminal 4 being switched to an on state manually by a user, when the power supply is applied constantly and a transmission/reception signal is requested, and a transistor 8 that is connected to the output terminal of an AND gate 7 which is connected to the output terminal of the first and second flip-flops 2 and 6 and switches the power supply to be applied to the transmission terminal. The circuit detects a specific reception signal tone and breaks the power supply automatically.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To stably decode CMI data into NRZ data. CONSTITUTION: Whenever rise transition is generated in CMI data, an inter-pulse transition time interval output part 3 generates a pulse RTP based on a pulse from a clock generation part 1 and data from a data output part 2, and a clock semi-period reference pulse generation part 4 generates a pulse RR0. Then, a rise transition detection/two stage semi-period shift part 5 outputs pulses RR1 and RR2. When descending transition is generated in CMI data, a pulse FTP is outputted from the pulse transition time interval output part 3 and a descending transition detection/three stage semi-period shift part 6 outputs pulses FR0, FR1, FR1 and FR2. A CMA/NRZ decoding part 7 decodes data into NRZ data and a code error detection part 8 detects whether a CMI code error occurs or not in CMI data.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain an effective and reliable different kind of signal converter in connection between an E1 system (European transmission system) and a T1 system (north American transmission system) by constituting this device of an input signal bit state analyzing means and a signal bit storing and converting means. CONSTITUTION: A different kind of signal converter is constituted of an input signal bit state analyzing part 10 which inputs signal information from plural T1 trunks and plural E1 trunks, compares this input signal information with present signal bit information, and executes a function for transition to a new state, and a signal bit state storing and converting part 20 connected with the input signal bit state analyzing part 10 which stores the signal state of each channel, operates signal conversion so that it can be suited to each system, and generates and transmits new signal bits. Then, the signal information in the T1 system is converted into the signal information in the E1 system, and the signal information in the E1 system is converted into the signal information in the T1 system. Thus, the signal converting function can be prevented from being affected by failure due to an error generated on the transmission path, and reliability can be increased.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent the retiming errors by setting automatically the significant instant of a retiming clock at the center of a data eye pattern. CONSTITUTION: A negative feedback digital circuit consists of a phase detection/ retiming unit U1, a loop processor U2 and a phase shifter U3. Then the significant instant of a retiming clock is set at the center of a data eye pattern in a steady state. When an operation is started with the significant instant set in a data transition, the transition state is switched to the steady state and the significant instant of an inverted retiming clock is set at the data transition edge. Thus, the retiming errors can be eliminated.

CONSTITUTION: A Si thin film 2 formed on a semi-insulated GaAs substrate 1 by a PECVD(Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition) method and a silicon nitride film 3 by a PCVD(Photo Chemical Vapor Deposition) method are used as sealing (capping) films in an activated process. In such a case, the interval between the gate electrode 7 and the n -layer 8 can be controlled by growing tungsten 7 by selective chemical gaseous growth into the T-form at the time of forming the gate. Thus, the process can be simplified.

CONSTITUTION: This system is provided with the level 3-3 connection network 400 for mutually connecting plural level-3 units 410a to 410m and a control connection network 470 for connecting the units 410a to 410m to a signal network management unit 460. The system is also provided with plural level-3 connection networks 420a to 420m for connecting the units 410a to 410m to respectively corresponding level-2 units 440a to 440k through respective distributed memories 430a to 430k and these units are arranged by a form of plural hierarchies. Consequently capacity allowed to be accommodated by the whole signal repeater station can be increased and the signal message transmission delay time can be shortened.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To observe a subject and the converged state of laser light flux without being affected by anything even if the diameter of laser light flux is changed by guiding laser light flux converged by a movable converging lens for a beam splitter and reflecting laser light flux in the direction of the converging lens. CONSTITUTION: The converging lens L3 converging laser light flux and the beam splitter BS (light flux separator) are installed for an observation microscope installed so that the converging lens L1 and an eyepiece lens L2 can freely move on a stand 1 movable in a plane. The size and the state of laser light flux converged on a sample face can be observed. At the same time, the diameter of light flux can be controlled to arbitrarily desired size. Thus, the diameter of light flux can be changed without affecting an observation function different from a case when a distance between the converging lens L1 and a sample face is adjusted without providing a different converging lens for an existed laser plotting machine.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To enable self-aligned transistors to be enhanced in uniformity of characteristics and prevented from deteriorating with time by a method wherein the removal of a natural oxide film and the evaporation of an amorphous silicon are carried out at the same time in a vacuum, and a titanium/second amorphous silicon layer is evaporated on a first amorphous silicon layer. CONSTITUTION: A natural oxide film 111 is removed from a P-type intrinsic base 104 through an argon gas sputtering method so as to make the surface 115 of the base 104 clean, a first amorphous silicon layer 116 is deposited on the cleaned surface of the base 104 in a vacuum, impurities are diffused in the surface of the amorphous silicon layer 116 through a thermal treatment for the formation of an N-type emitter junction 118 after impurity ions are implanted. Then, a formed oxide film 117 is removed by argon gas sputtering to make the surface 119 of the silicon layer 116 clean, a titanium film 120 and a second amorphous silicon layer 121 are evaporated on the amorphous silicon layer 116, impurity ions are implanted, and a titanium silicide layer 122 is formed through a thermal treatment. By this constitution, an emitter is lessened in contact resistance, a transistor of this constitution can be prevented from becoming unstable in characteristics and deteriorating in quality with time, furthermore an emitter junction is made stable in depth, and a sheet resistance can be lessened.

CONSTITUTION: The allocating method for signal links L2 has a subtree connected to the signal links L2 and signal data link L1 in the signal repeating station including one signal network function L3 as its root node. When the signal network function L3 is the root node and the signal data link L1 cluster the tree of terminal nodes, the signal link is connected. Namely, when the signal selection number in a signal message consists of K bits and is F=2K, F signal links L2 are connected to the one signal network function L3 and one signal data link L1 is connected to each signal link L2 to form one cluster. Then the links L1 are connected to links L1 in F different signal repeating stations.
