Abstract: The disclosed technology relates to a method for setting a wired and wireless switch using a remote controller and a wired and wireless switch using the remote controller, wherein the method comprises the steps of: operating an infrared radiation (IR) receiver via an IR operation button of the wired and wireless switch; making the IR receiver sense a first signal according to a first button among a plurality of buttons arranged on one side of the remote controller; making the IR receiver transmit the first signal, sensed in the previous step, to the controller; making the controller set the first signal as an operation signal of the wired and wireless switch; and turning on or off a lamp connected to the wired and wireless switch according to the operation signal.
