    Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for katalytic oligomerization of short-chained monoolefins contained in a hydrocarbon mixture, wherein the mixture is contacted with an adsorber and is catalytically oligomerized. The invention is characterized in that an adsorber selected from the group consisting of aluminum oxides, solids containing aluminum oxides, aluminum phosphates, silicon dioxides, infusorial earth, titanium dioxide, zirconium dioxides, phosphates, adsorbents containing carbon, polymeric adsorbents and mixtures thereof are used as adsorbent.
