Abstract: PURPOSE: A VCR(Variable Compression Ratio) device with a dual eccentric link is provided to evenly distribute loads to an eccentric link, a piston pin, and a small end portion of a connecting rod as the eccentric link is connected to both sides of the small end portion of the connecting rod. CONSTITUTION: A VCR device with a dual eccentric link comprises a connecting rod(20), an eccentric rod, and eccentric links. The connecting rod comprises a large end portion(22) and a small end portion(21). One end of the connecting rod is connected to a crank shaft so that the large end portion is applied with the torque from an engine. The small end portion with a coupling hole is formed at the other end. Each end of the eccentric links is connected to the coupling hole from both sides, facing each other. The eccentric links are integrally rotated. The eccentric rod is connected to the other end of the eccentric links and turned within a predetermined angle range.

CONSTITUTION: A VCR(Variable Compression Ratio) device comprises a connecting rod(20), an eccentric link(40), a variable link(50), a variable gear link(60), a control shaft(80) and a guide bar(90). One end of the connecting rod is rotatably connected to a piston(10) through a piston pin(12). The other end of the connecting rod is rotatably connected to a crank shaft(30). An eccentric bearing is connected to one end of the eccentric link and installed in a mounting groove concentrically. One end of the variable link is connected to the other end of the eccentric link to be rotated. The variable gear link is rotated about a fixing shaft(70). A first gear teeth(62) is formed in an outer circumference of the variable gear link. An outer surface portion of the variable gear link is connected to the other end of the variable link to be rotated. A second gear teeth(82) of the control shaft is engaged with the first gear teeth. The control shaft is rotated to spin the variable gear link. The guide bar restricts horizontal movements of the eccentric link with the connecting rod.
