    Abstract: A method for water-coating the surface of plastic sheets for interior materials of a vehicle is provided to form a coating film with good thermoforming performance by improving mechanical properties such as luster resistance, scratch resistance, and elongation. A method for water-coating the surface of plastic sheets for interior materials of a vehicle comprises a step for coating the surface of the plastic sheet with a primer composition and then heating and drying the plastic sheet, wherein the primer composition consists of chlorinated water-soluble olefin resin of 30~65wt.%, polyurethane resin of 2~10wt.%, water-soluble silicone resin of 1~5wt.%, a water-soluble stabilizer of 0.5~2wt.%, and the distilled water of 30~60wt.% and a step for applying a thermoplastic polycarbonate urethane composition on a film coated with the primer aqueous solution and then heating and drying the film coated with the thermoplastic polycarbonate urethane composition, wherein the thermoplastic polycarbonate urethane composition consists of aliphatic urethane of 40~60wt.%, aliphatic urethane modifying silicon polyol of 0.1~5wt.%, N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone of 3~5wt.%, a neutralizing agent of 0.1~1wt.%, and the distilled water of 30~60wt.%.
