    Abstract: PURPOSE: An active noise control system of a vehicle and a control method thereof are provided to possessively to cope with a change of an operation environment because noise is controlled by recasting active noise control logic according to a system abnormality generating state. CONSTITUTION: An active noise control system of a vehicle comprises a noise detecting part(10), a vehicle speed detecting part(20), a reverse phase sound wave output part(40), and a noise controller(30). The noise detecting part outputs noise signals by sensing noise of an indoor of a vehicle using an error microphone(12). The vehicle speed detecting part senses a vehicle speed or revolution per minute. The reverse phase sound wave output part outputs the reverse phase sound waves using a speaker. The noise controller performs an active noise control by controlling the reverse phase sound wave output part according to output signals of the vehicle speed detecting part and the noise signals. The noise controller performs the active noise control by recasting active noise control logic to make the active noise control using only the normal error microphone and speaker possible when an abnormality is generated in the error microphone or speaker.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a pulley, which receives rotational force from an engine through a belt and rotates a drive shaft, comprising a body connected to the drive shaft; a strut cylinder, which is installed on the outer periphery of the body and has a spring inside; an outer plate, which has a combined piston to glide in the strut cylinder and has variable distances from the body depending on the gliding of the piston; and a solenoid coil, which generates electromagnetic force so that the outer plate can approach the body according to power supply. The belt is connected to the outside of the outer plate. When power is applied to the solenoid coil, the outer plate approaches the body. Then the external diameter is reduced. When power supply is blocked, the piston glides due to the elasticity of the spring. Then the external diameter is increased. The pulley, which is structured as above mentioned, changes pulsation frequency near a resonance point due to the changes of the external diameter, thereby more effectively suppressing pulsation noise.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: An active noise control device for a vehicle and a method thereof are provided to install a microphone for measuring noise and a speaker for a noise reduction in a special seat inside a vehicle and to process noise signals by dividing into low frequency noise and high frequency noise so that a noise control is possible around the special seat in the vehicle. The control member extracts the noise signals corresponding to the reference frequency detected by the reference frequency detecting member from noise signals measured by the noise measuring member and generates noise reduction signals for low frequency noise signals having a reference acoustic pressure and noise reduction signals for high frequency noise signals after dividing the extracted noise signals into the low frequency noise signals and high frequency noise signals. The low frequency noise reduction member reduces low frequency noise by outputting first noise reduction signals from the control member. The high frequency noise reduction member reduces high frequency noise by outputting second noise reduction signals from the control member.
