Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an alkyne compound through an improved generally applicable process by reacting a carbonyl-containing compound with an acetylenic group-containing compound in the presence of a specific basic catalyst. SOLUTION: (A) A compound of the formula: R1C(=O)R2 [R1 and R2 are each H or a (substituted or interrupted with non-adjacent hetero atom, or containing a C=C bond) 1-20C hydrocarbon; at least one of R1 and R2 is not H] is made to react with (B) a compound of the formula HC≡CR3 [R3 is H or a (substituted or interrupted with non-adjacent hetero atom, or containing a C=C bond) 1-20C hydrocarbon] in the presence of (C) a basic catalyst consisting of CsOH.H2O optionally in (D) an N-methylpyrrolidone-based solvent to obtain the objective compound of the formula R1R2C(OH)C≡CR3.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an alkene compound in an improved and generally utilizable way by reacting an organic compound having at least one amino group, hydroxyl group and/or nitrile group with a compound having at least one acetylene group. SOLUTION: The objective compound of the formula R3-HC=CR2-R4 [wherein R2 and R3 are each H, NH2 or a (substituted) 1-20C hydrocarbon which may be interrupted by at least one nonadjacent heteroatom or may have at least one C-C double bond; R4 is R5R6N, R5R6C(Z) or R7O; R5 to R7 are each NH2 or a (substituted) 1-20C hydrocarbon which may be interrupted by at least one nonadjacent heteroatom or may have at least one C-C double bond; R7O is not a 1,2-aminoalkanol; and Z is CN or COOR (wherein R is H or a 1-6C alkyl)] is obtained by reacting (A) an alkene compound of the formula R4-H except 1,2-aminoalkanols with (B) a compound of the formula R2-C≡C-R3 in the presence of (C) CsOH.H2O as one kind of basic catalyst.

Abstract: The invention relates to aqueous dispersions comprising a polyurethane, produced from a) diisocyanates, b) diols, of which b1) 10 to 100 mol. %, relative to the total amount of diols (b), have a molecular weight of 500 to 5000 and b2) 0 to 90 mol. %, relative to the total amount of diols (b), have a molecular weight of 60 to 500 g/mol, c) various monomers from amongst the monomers (a) and (b) with at least one isocyanate group or at least one group reactive towards isocyanate groups, with furthermore, at least one hydrophilic or potentially hydrophilic group, by means of which the aqueous dispersibility of the polyurethane is affected, d) optionally additional polyfunctional compounds different from the monomers (a) to (c), said functions being alcoholic hydroxy groups, primary or secondary amino groups or isocyanate groups and e) optionally additional monofunctional compounds different from the monomers (a) to (d), said function being an alcoholic hydroxy group, a primary or secondary amino group or an isocyanate group. Said dispersions may be obtained by reaction of the monomers a), b), c) and optionally d) and e) in the presence of a caesium salt.
