    Abstract: The invention concerns isoxazol-4-yl-benzoyl derivatives of formula (I) in which the substituents have the following meanings: L and M represent hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl, C2-C6 alkenyl, C2-C6 alkinyl, C1-C4 alkoxy (these groups being optionally substituted by one to five halogen atoms or C1-C4 alkoxy), halogen, cyano, nitro, a -(Y)n-S(O)mR7 or (Y)n-CO-R8 group; Z represents a five to six-membered heterocyclic saturated or unsaturated group which contains one to three heteroatoms selected from the group comprising oxygen, sulphur or nitrogen and can optionally be substituted by halogen, cyano, nitro, an -CO-R8 group, C1-C4 alkyl, C1-C4 alkyl halide, C3-C8 cycloalkyl, C1-C4 alkoxy, C1-C4 alkoxy halide, C1-C4 alkyl thio, C1-C4 alkyl thio halide, di-C1-C4 alkyl amino, phenyl optionally substituted by halogen, cyano, nitro, C1-C4 alkyl or C1-C4 alkyl halide, or an oxo group which can be present in the tautomeric form as a hydroxy group, is substituted or, together with a condensation-bound phenyl ring which is optionally substituted by halogen, cyano, nitro, C1-C4 alkyl or C1-C4 alkyl halide, with a condensation-bound carbocycle or with a condensation-bound second heterocycle which can optionally be substituted by halogen, cyano, nitro, C1-C4 alkyl, diC1-C4 alkyl amino, C1-C4 alkoxy, C1-C4 alkoxy halide, or a C1-C4 alkyl halide, form a bicyclic system; Y represents O or NR9; n is 0 or 1; m is 0, 1 or 2; R7 represents C1-C4 alkyl, C1-C4 alkyl halide or NR9R10; R8 represents C1-C4 alkyl, C1-C4 alkyl halide, C1-C4 alkoxy or NR9R10; R9 represents hydrogen or C1-C4 alkyl; R10 represents C1-C4 alkyl; Q represents an isoxazole ring connected at position 4 and of formula (II) in which R1 represents hydrogen or -C02R3, R2 represents hydrogen, C1-C4 alkyl or C3-C6 cycloalkyl which can optionally be substituted by one or more halogen atoms or C1-C4 alkyl, R3 representing a C1-C4 alkyl; J represents a carbonyl group CO or a -CHR4 group, R4 representing an OH group, a hydroxyl group optionally acylated with C2-C4 acyl, or a chlorine atom. The invention also concerns salts of compounds of formula (I) usually utilized in agriculture.

    Abstract: A process for controlling harmful fungi is characterised in that the fungi, their biotope or materials, plants, seeds, ground, surfaces or rooms to be protected against fungi are treated separately or together, simultaneously or successively with an active substance (I) that inhibits the respiration of cytochrom complex III and with an active substance of formula (II), in which the indices and substituents have the following meanings: m is an integer from 1 to 6, whereas the rests R may differ from each other when m is larger than 1; R stands for hydrogen, cyano, nitro, hydroxy, mercapto, amino, carboxyl, aminocarbonyl, aminothiocarbonyl, sulfo, aminosulphonyl, halogen, alkyl, haydroxyalkyl, alkoxyalkyl, alkoxy, alkoxyalkoxy, alkylthio, alkylamino, dialkylamino, alkylsuphonyl, alkylsulphoxyl, alkylsulphonyloxy, alkylcarbonyl, alkylcarbonyloxy, alkylcarbonylamino, alkoxycarbonyl, alkoxycarbonylamino, alkylaminocarbonyl, dialkylaminocarbonyl, alkylaminothiocarbonyl, dialkylaminothiocarbonyl, alkylaminosulphonyl, dialkylaminosulphonyl, alkenyl, alkenyloxy, alkenylcarbonyloxy, alkinyl and alkinyloxy, whereas these groups may be partially or completely halogenated; cycloalkyl, aryl arylalkyl, arylalkoxy, aryloxy, arylthio, arylcarbonyl, arylcarbonyloxy, heteroaryl, heteroarylalkyl, heteroarylalkoxy, heteroaryloxy, heteroarylthio, heteroarylcarbonyl and heteroarylcarbonyloxy, whereas these groups may be partially or completely halogenated and/or bear one to three of the following rests; cyano, nitro, hydroxy, alkyl, alkyl halide, alkoxy, alkoxy halide or alkylthio; R1 stands for hydrogen, cyano, nitro, hydroxy, mercapto, amino, carboxyl, aminocarbonyl, aminothiocarbornyl, sulfo, aminosulphonyl, halogen, alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, alkoxyalkyl, alkoxy, alkoxyalkoxy, alkylthio, alkylamino, dialkylamino, alkylsulphonyl, alkylsulphoxyl, alkylsulphonyloxy, alkylcarbonyl, alkylcarbonyloxy, alkylcarbonylamino, alkoxycarbonyl, alkoxycarbonylamino, alkylaminocarbonyl, dialkylaminocarbonyl, alkylaminothiocarbonyl, dialkylaminothiocarbonyl, alkylaminosulphonyl, dialkylaminosulphonyl, alkenyl, alkenyloxy, alkenylcarbonyloxy, alkinyl and alkinyloxy, whereas these groups may be partially or completely halogenated; cycloalkyl, aryl, arylalkyl, arylalkoxy, arylthio, arylcarbonyl, arylcarbonyloxy, heteroaryl, heteroarylalkyl, heteroarylalkoxy, heteroaryloxy, heteroarylthio, heteroarylcarbonyl and heteroarylcarbonyloxy, whereas these groups may be partially or completely halogenated and/or bear one to three of the following rests: cyano, nitro, hydroxy, alkyl, alkyl halide, alkoxy, alkoxy halide or alkylthio. Also disclosed are appropriate mixtures therefor.
