Abstract: Respective evaporators are set to a proper value in evaporation temperature and the efficiency in refrigeration cycle is enhanced, resulting in a reduction of energy consumption. A refrigerating unit and a refrigerator comprise a compressor, a condenser, a plurality of evaporators connected in series, a refrigerant flow rate adjustable unit and a refrigerant, thereby constituting a refrigeration cycle. The refrigerant flow rate adjustable unit controls each respective evaporation temperature of the plurality of evaporators. Preferably, the refrigeration unit further comprises a bypass circuit bypassing at least one of the plurality of evaporators and, when needs arise, the refrigerant is channeled through the bypass circuit. The refrigerant flow rate adjustable unit controls a flow rate of the refrigerant such that an evaporation temperature of the respective evaporators located at the upstream side of the refrigeration cycle is made higher than an evaporation temperature of the respective evaporators located at the downstream side thereof.

Abstract: The respective evaporators have proper evaporation temperatures to improve the freezing cycle efficiency, resulting in the reduction of energy consumption. The freezer and refrigerator are provided with a compressor, a condenser, a plurality of series-connected evaporators, a refrigerant flow rate changing device, and a refrigerant, these forming a refrigerating cycle. The refrigerant flow rate changing device controls respective evaporation temperatures for the plurality of evaporators. Desirably, the freezer further includes a bypass circuit which bypasses at least one evaporator, and the refrigerant passes through the bypass circuit as needed. The refrigerant flow rate changing device controls the flow rate of the refrigerant such that the evaporation temperatures for the evaporators positioned on the upstream side of the refrigerating cycle are higher than those for the evaporators positioned on the downstream side.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of having a user remove the source of a gas when the gas accelerating the deterioration of a food in a storage compartment for storing foods exists with at least a prescribed concentration. SOLUTION: The refrigerator comprises an atmosphere sensor of an atmosphere sensor unit 24, an information display device 25, and a display control means 26. The atmosphere sensor whose electric resistance varies according to the concentration of ethanol around the set place, is set inside a vegetable compartment 12. The information display device 25 can display the information on the refrigerator in illustration and sentences. The display control means 26 makes the information display device 25 display a sentence with the contents recommending to remove a cause of generated ethanol gas when it is determined that the concentration of the ethanol gas around the place where the atmosphere sensor is set is at least 20 ppm based on the variation of the electric resistance of the atmosphere sensor. Accordingly, the source of the gas can be removed by a user and the freshness of vegetables can be kept with a simple structure.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator provided with a refrigerating chamber and a vegetable chamber, which is cooled efficiently at high humidity, and the effect of condensate dropping at high humidity, inflow of food juice, etc., on the quality of preserved goods is eliminated. SOLUTION: A cooling board 17 is provided above the vegetable chamber 13, and a water-receiving board 20 is provided slantingly backward below the board 17. Moisture condensed on the board 17 is received by the board 20, and discharged from a draining mechanism 19 in the backside of the vegetable chamber 13 and to the outside of the chamber. Thus, the condensate does not drop in the chamber 13, rotting due to moisture can be prevented, even at a high humidity, and a high preservability of the chamber 13 can be kept.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide highly efficient refrigerating equipment and a refrigerator provided with the equipment, in which evaporation temperatures of a plurality of evaporators can be variably controlled, temperature variation in a cooling chamber is small. SOLUTION: A refrigerating cycle is constituted by providing a compressor 301, a condenser 302, a first evaporator 304 and a second evaporator 305 connected serially to each other, a refrigerant flow variable controller 306 such as a motorized expansion valve provided between the evaporators 304 and 305. Further, a bypass circuit 307 bypassing the evaporator 304 and the variable controller 306 is provided in the refrigerating cycle. Evaporation temperatures of the evaporators 304 and 305 are variably controlled by the controller 306. As required, the evaporator 304 is bypassed to optimize the cooling amount of the evaporators 304 and 305 to improve the efficiency of the refrigerating equipment and the storing quality of objects to be cooled.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a dried state of a cooling chamber aiming at a high humidity such as a vegetable chamber and improve a freshness keeping characteristic of a food which is weak against drying, such as the vegetable. SOLUTION: A location below a refrigerator chamber 30 is applied as a cooling chamber 31 aiming at keeping a high humidity, a cooling plate 45 is arranged between the refrigerator chamber 30 and a cooling chamber 31 aiming at attaining a high humidity, and each of the chambers is made independent to each other with the cooling plate 45 being applied as an interface. Cold air from an evaporator 29 for the refrigerator chamber 30 is blown against the cooling plate 45 to cool the cooling plate, thereby the cooling chamber 31 aiming at attaining a high humidity is cooled. When the cooling plate 45 is set to show the lowest temperature within the cooling chamber, the temperature of the cooling plate becomes a dew point of air in the cooling chamber 31 aiming at a high humidity. A temperature difference between the cooling plate 45 and the cooling chamber 31 aiming at a high humidity is set to show 2 deg.C±1 deg.C, resulting in that a chamber with a high humidity of 80%RH to 95%RH is formed and thus a freshness keeping characteristic for food such as vegetable which is weak against drying can be improved.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a heat loss due to a high-temperature refrigerant flowing in an evaporator when the operation of a compressor is stopped. SOLUTION: A refrigerating plant is provided with a compressor 21, a condenser 22, and a plurality of evaporators 25 and 26 which are connected in series. The plant is also provided with a pressure reducing device 24 having a fully closing function between the condenser 22 and the front evaporator 25. When the operation of the compressor 21 is stopped, therefore, the temperature fluctuations in first and second cooling chambers 30 and 31 can be reduced and, at the same time, energy conservation can be devised economically by preventing the high-temperature refrigerant left in the condenser 22 from flowing in the evaporators 25 and 26 by fully closing the pressure reducing device 24.
