Abstract: A stimulation device includes a base body, and a contact element attached on or in the base body, for contact with a body part of the user. The contact element has a reversibly deformable contact surface region. A shaping element, to generate a local deformation of the contact element without deforming the base body, is arranged on or in the base body to move in relation to the base body. An actuation device is arranged on or in the base body and operatively connected to the shaping element to generate movement of the shaping element. The actuation device comprises a shape-memory element that can be deformed by applying an electrical current and/or a magnetic field and/or by changing the temperature, and is connected to the base body on one side and to the shaping element on the other side, and, by deforming, causes a movement of the shaping element.

Abstract: A therapeutic mat is described. The mat provides therapeutic relief in the form of vibratory motion and/or heat. The mat or pad is particularly useful as a floor mat in a vehicle. The mat includes provisions to enable powering the mat from a 12-volt direct current source, such as used in an automobile or other vehicle. A massage module can be removed from the mat to facilitate cleaning of the mat. The mat may also include one or more upwardly extending provisions for massaging the arch region of a user's feet. Also described are illuminated mats. The lights of a mat can operate based upon the operation of another mat, pulsations of the massage module, or based upon acoustic levels in the vehicle.

Abstract: Exoskeleton technology is described herein. Such technology includes but is not limited to exoskeletons, exoskeleton controllers, methods for controlling an exoskeleton, and combinations thereof. The exoskeleton technology may facilitate, enhance, and/or supplant the natural mobility of a user via a combination of sensor elements, processing/control elements, and actuating elements. User movement may be elicited by electrical stimulation of the user's muscles, actuation of one or more mechanical components, or a combination thereof. In some embodiments, the exoskeleton technology may adjust in response to measured inputs, such as motions or electrical signals produced by a user. In this way, the exoskeleton technology may interpret known inputs and learn new inputs, which may lead to a more seamless user experience.

Abstract: A pool apparatus for users to do activities in the pool apparatus. The pool apparatus includes a pool main body, one or more than one reaction deices and a control circuit. The control circuit is connected to the reaction device and controls the reaction device according to a setting to increase additional functions of the pool apparatus. When the control circuit is connected to an external device via at least one wireless network, a user may use the external device to adjust the setting. The external device does not need to be paired with the control circuit in advance. Instead, the external device interacts with the control circuit via a protocol to access and adjust the setting.
