Abstract:
The present invention provides a wheel spraying device, comprising a frame, an electric motor, a hollow shaft, a ring flange, and cylinders. During use of the device, the need of jacking up and rotating a wheel in wheel spraying can be met, and the difficulty of removing the protection plugs of bolt hole due to thickening and clogging after completion of spraying can be completely avoided. Meanwhile, the device has the characteristics of simple structure, convenience for use, low manufacturing cost, and safe and stable performance.
Abstract:
An apparatus for processing wafer-shaped articles comprises a closed process chamber providing a gas-tight enclosure. A rotary chuck is located within the closed process chamber, and is adapted to hold a wafer shaped article thereon. A lid is secured to an upper part of the closed process chamber. The lid comprises an annular chamber, gas inlets communicating with the annular chamber and opening on a surface of the lid facing outwardly of the closed process chamber, and gas outlets communicating with the annular chamber and opening on a surface of the lid facing inwardly of the closed process chamber.
Abstract:
A substrate processing apparatus includes a substrate holding unit, an injection unit that injects droplets of a processing liquid from a plurality of injection ports respectively toward a plurality of collision positions on the substrate, and a liquid film forming unit. The liquid film forming unit discharges a protective liquid from a plurality of discharge ports toward a plurality of liquid contact positions that respectively cover different collision positions. The plurality of injection ports and the plurality of discharge ports may be formed in a nozzle. A nozzle moving unit may be provided, to move the nozzle along the substrate.
Abstract:
A vertical internal coating machine is taught, which may be used with bodies such as cans (2 piece, 3 piece, draw, redraw,) and including cylinders, containers and any similar body. In the machine cans or similar bodies are vertical in the machine's star wheel rather than horizontal, and the bodies are sprayed with the star wheel in continuous motion without stopping and starting. The machine teaches that a plurality of spray guns may be provided for each pocket of the star wheel. By means of the machine an improved line layout is devised which may eliminate the need to raise the bodies immediately prior to a necker by allowing the vertical can internal coating machine and internal bake over to be disposed on any level of the facility, upper, lower, mezzanine, etc. In green aspects, the machine may use negative pressure cabinets/hoods and positive pressure tunnels to entrain volatile organic chemicals emitted by the spray guns and coated bodies and may send these VOCs to a VOC desctruction device, such as an oven.
Abstract:
A coating solution is injected from nozzles in the horizontal direction to coat, with the coating solution, lens surfaces of a spectacle lens substrate so arranged as to orient an optical axis in the horizontal direction. The spectacle lens substrate is rotated at a first rotational speed about the optical axis serving as the rotation center, and the coating solution is spread on the lens surfaces by the centrifugal force. The spectacle lens substrate is rotated at a second rotational speed higher than the first rotational speed to blow away an excess of the coating solution from the spectacle lens substrate by the centrifugal force. Highly uniform films can be formed on the lens surfaces of the spectacle lens.

Abstract:
A method of forming a coating layer on a golf ball includes spraying a first quantity of a coating composition onto the golf ball to form a partially-coated golf ball that has a first pole disposed in a top position, a second pole disposed in a bottom position, a diameter extending between the first and second poles, and an axis of rotation perpendicular to the diameter. After spraying the first quantity, the method includes rotating the partially-coated golf ball about the axis to translate the first and second poles such that the first pole is disposed in the bottom position and the second pole is disposed in the top position. After rotating, the method includes spraying a second quantity of the composition onto the partially-coated golf ball to form the coating layer on the golf ball. An apparatus for forming the coating layer on the golf ball is also disclosed.
Abstract:
Apparatus and methods are configured to coat a medical device, such as a stent, with a beneficial medicinal agent using one or more liquid feeds and one or more micromist nozzles. In one implementation, an agent coating rig includes a vertical adjustment means, a rotation means, and a traverse adjustment means for moving a medical device along virtually any point on an x or y axis. In additional or alternative implementations, the agent coating rig can further include a secondary horizontal adjustment means that allows adjustment along virtually any point on a z axis. Furthermore, methods and apparatus are provided for distributing the beneficial agent on the medical device, including delivering the beneficial agent efficiently over time.

Abstract:
An apparatus for coating a stent can comprises a support element, spray nozzle, and a shuttle sheath. A method of coating a stent comprises contacting a first axial portion of a stent with the support element, such that a second axial portion does not contact the support element or any other support element, applying a coating material to the second axial portion, and inhibiting or preventing application of the coating material on the first axial portion. The shuttle sheath can be used to push the stent off the support element.
