Abstract:
A flat panel display module having anti-shock screw-tightening structure is provided. The flat panel display module includes a display panel, a flexible printed circuit, a printed circuit board, a back plate, a fastening element, and a flexible separator. The display panel has a signal connecting end. One end of the flexible printed circuit is electrically connected to the signal connecting end while the other end is electrically connected to the printed circuit board. The printed circuit board has a through hole. The back plate accommodates the display panel. The flexible printed circuit is disposed across the back plate so that the printed circuit board is parallel to the back plate. The fastening element which has a length greater than the thickness of the printed circuit board passes through the through hole and is secured to the surface of the back plate. The flexible separator is disposed between the back plate and the printed circuit board and pushes the printed circuit board away from the back plate so that the printed circuit board touches against the fastening element. The flat panel display module maintains a space between the printed circuit board and the back plate to accomplish the purpose of anti-shock.

A capacitive touch switch is disclosed which includes a substrate having a channel formed between a first surface and a second surface thereof, thereby defining a flexible section of the substrate. The capacitive touch switch also includes an insulating panel having a first face and a second face, the second face adapted to be touched by a user. The capacitive touch switch may further include a capacitive electrode disposed on the flexible section, a light source coupled to the first surface of the flexible section, and one or more spacers secured to the first surface of the flexible section. Either the light source or the one or more spacers cause the flexible section of the substrate to be deflected away from the insulating panel when the substrate and the insulating panel are urged into contact. Deflection of the flexible section creates a gap which allows the light source to illuminate an icon disposed on the insulating panel. A method of manufacturing a capacitive touch switch is also disclosed.

A thin film circuit board device includes: a first thin film circuit board having a first protrusion provided with a first conductive contact; a second thin film circuit board having a second protrusion provided with a second conductive contact; and an insulator film disposed between the first and second thin film circuit boards. The first and second protrusions are disposed one above the other. The insulator film is free of a portion that extends between the first and second protrusions. The first and second protrusions are folded together in such a manner that the first and second conductive contacts are brought into contact with each other at the fold thereof.

The present invention provides a motor that enables a lead of a coil to be appropriately led through holes, while allowing the lead of the coil to be fixed without contacting a wall surface of the hole in a base. Cuts 14b are formed in an insulating sheet or a printed circuit board 14; the cuts 14b extend substantially radially or spirally from a lead lead-out portion 14a as a center. Thus, even if an end of the lead 7a abuts against an area located outside the lead lead-out portion 14a, the abutting area and a nearby area located in the vicinity of the abutting area are pushed open along the cuts 14b extending from the lead lead-out portion 14a and guide the end of the lead 7a toward the lead lead-out portion 14a. The end of the lead 7a is thus appropriately guided into the lead lead-out portion 14a.

A suspension board with circuit includes a conductive pattern, a board main body portion on which a magnetic head is mounted, and an auxiliary portion capable of being folded back with respect to the board main body portion so as to face a back surface of the board main body portion. The conductive pattern includes a first conductive pattern including a first terminal electrically connected to an external circuit, and a second terminal electrically connected to the magnetic head, and a second conductive pattern including a third terminal electrically connected to the external circuit, and a fourth terminal electrically connected to an electronic element. Both of the first terminal and the second terminal are disposed on the board main body portion. The third terminal is disposed on the board main body portion or on the auxiliary portion, and the fourth terminal is disposed on the auxiliary portion.

A system and method are disclosed for improving suspension-to-slider attachment in a hard disk drive. A slider having a number of bond pads on its leading edge and a number of bond pads on its trailing edge is to be coupled to a suspension flexure having a number of leading bond pads and a number of trailing bond pads. The slider is to be coupled to the suspension flexure at the leading bond pads and the trailing bond pads by a method such as gold ball, solder ball, or solder bump bonding.

A socket includes an insulating elastomeric sheet having a penetration hole, metal circuits formed on at least one of the front and rear surfaces of the elastomeric sheet, and a through-hole having a metal film formed on an inner wall of the penetration hole. The metal circuit on the front surface of the elastomeric sheet is electrically connected to the metal circuit on the rear surface of the elastomeric sheet via the through-hole. With such a configuration of the socket, it is possible to provide a socket contact terminal and a semiconductor device having the same, which is suitable for low-resistance, large-current, and high-speed configurations.

The present invention aims at the miniaturization and the reduction of thickness of a liquid crystal display device. In a liquid crystal display device which includes: a liquid crystal display panel; a backlight which is arranged on a back-surface side of the liquid crystal display panel; and a flexible printed wiring board which has one end thereof connected to a terminal portion of the liquid crystal display panel, wherein the backlight includes a frame-like mold and a light source, the flexible printed wiring board is folded outside a frame of the frame-like mold and has a portion thereof arranged on a back-surface side of the frame-like mold, the light source is housed in the inside of the frame of the frame-like mold; and the light source is mounted on a surface which opposedly faces the liquid crystal display panel in a state that the flexible printed wiring board is folded out of surfaces of the flexible printed wiring board in the vicinity of a bent portion of the flexible printed wiring board, and the flexible printed wiring board has a cutout therein in a periphery of the light source.

A lightweight radio/CD player for vehicular application is virtually “fastenerless” and includes a case and frontal interface formed of polymer based material that is molded to provide details to accept audio devices such as playback mechanisms (if desired) and radio receivers, as well as the circuit boards required for electrical control and display. The case and frontal interface are of composite structure, including an insert molded electrically conductive wire mesh screen that has been pre-formed to contour with the molding operation. The wire mesh provides EMC, RFI, BCI and ESD shielding and grounding of the circuit boards via exposed wire mesh pads and adjacent ground clips. The major components and subassemblies self-interconnect by integral guide and connection features effecting “slide lock” and “snap lock” self-interconnection. The major components and subassemblies self-ground by establishing an interference fit with exposed, resilient, embossed portions of wire mesh.
Abstract:
A display module includes components of a display panel having an outward first FPC for connecting to a system, wherein the first FPC has a foldable part on which a welding area is defined, and a backlight unit opposite to the display panel for providing illumination for the display panel. The backlight unit has an outward second FPC which is welded with the welding area of the foldable part. Both the foldable part and second FPC are folded and turned around to keep the welding area attach to the backside of the backlight unit.
