A dual end liquid applicator including a reservoir handle having a first opening defined at a first end, a second opening defined at a second end opposing the first end, a first head member, and a second head member is provided. The reservoir handle defines an internal cavity for storing a dispensing liquid. The first head member is operably connected at the first opening at the first end of the reservoir handle. The second head member is operably connected at the second opening at the second end of the reservoir handle. The first head member and the second head member, when rolled over a contact surface, transfer and dispense the dispensing liquid from the internal cavity of the reservoir handle through the first opening at the first end of the reservoir handle and the second opening at the second end of the reservoir handle respectively, to the contact surface.

A process of manufacturing a stretch composite is disclosed. The process comprises providing a polyolefin based substrate, providing a letterpress adhesive application system comprising a pattern roll and an applicator roll, and depositing a molten, non-adhesive, elastomeric composition onto the applicator roll. The process further comprises transferring only a portion of the elastomeric composition that is on the applicator roll, from the applicator roll to the pattern roll, by contacting the pattern roll with the elastomeric composition that is on the applicator roll, and transferring substantially all of the elastomeric composition from the pattern roll to the substrate, by contacting the substrate with the elastomeric composition that is on the pattern roll, without damaging the substrate.

Paper is disclosed for use in making repositionable or removable adhesive labels. The adhesive can be applied in patches or discrete areas to the paper or to a layer of material that cleans rollers in the manufacturing line and/or in printers. The adhesive can be applied in single or multiple layers. The paper is light weight paper and preferably thermal paper for use in POS printers.

Coatings configured to change between a relatively higher reflectivity state and a relatively lower reflectivity state depending at least partially upon temperature are generally disclosed. Some example coatings may include a selectively reflective layer including a plurality of microcapsules, which may include an ionic liquid and/or a surfactant within a shell. The microcapsules may have a relatively higher reflectively when at temperatures above a cloud transition temperature and/or a relatively lower reflectivity when at temperatures below the cloud transition temperature. When at temperatures above the cloud transition temperature, the selectively reflective layer may reflect a first fraction of the incident light. When at temperatures below the cloud transition temperature, the selectively reflective layer may reflect a second fraction of the incident light. The first fraction of the incident light may be greater than the second fraction of the incident light.

A method for texturing an active surface of a photovoltaic cell in single-crystal silicon or poly-crystal silicon includes depositing a resin on the active surface of the cell, texturing the resin on the active surface with geometric patterns, and texturing the active surface of the cell by eliminating the deposited resin. The depositing of the resin is preceded by pre-texturing the resin on a depositing tool. The texturing step of the resin on the active surface is simultaneous with the depositing of the resin on the active surface.

A method for manufacturing a substrate having a textured surface. The method including the steps of: providing a substrate having a surface; applying a coating material onto the surface of the substrate; texturing the coating material on the surface of the substrate to form a textured coating; exposing the textured coating on the substrate to ultraviolet light for a duration of time sufficient to fully cure the textured coating on the substrate; and thereby forming a fully cured textured surface on the substrate.

The building material product comprises a substrate having embedded granules and an acrylic latex coating positioned on the granules, where the polymer of the acrylic latex coating has the repeating structural unit [CH2—C(R1)(R2)], where R1 is hydrogen or C1-C8 alkyl; R2 is hydrogen, cyano or —COOR; and R is a linear or branched hydrocarbon containing 1-22 carbon atoms, with the proviso that R1 and R2 are both not hydrogen. The method includes applying this acrylic latex water based composition to a granule embedded substrate.
