First and second pairs of input terminals and first and second pairs of output terminals are provided on the dielectric substrate. A first differential transmission line electrically connect the first pair of input terminals to the first pair of output terminals, and a second differential transmission line electrically connect the second pair of input terminals to the second pair of output terminals. The dielectric substrate includes an opening that is positioned between the conductive paths of the first differential transmission line, the opening containing a second insulative material having a second dielectric constant.
Abstract:
Since a protruding portion preventing a rotation during screw fastening of a connection member is disposed to engage with an end surface of a printed circuit board, a configuration can be achieved such that the protruding portion does not interfere with an earth member, a bracket, etc. disposed on the back side of the printed circuit board, and the earth member and the bracket can freely be designed.
Abstract:
A mount assembly includes a member in which a mount component is mounted at least on one main face of the member and at which a member connecting electrode is formed; and a connection member that has a pillar-shaped parallel portion arranged so that a longitudinal direction of the parallel portion is parallel to the main face of the member, one end side of the parallel portion being connected to the member connecting electrode.
Abstract:
An electronic modular unit having electronics has a printed circuit board, a housing receiving the electronics and an electrical conductor. The conductor is in this connection directly soldered with a flat connection end to a contact surface of the printed circuit board. In order to simplify the soldering process, a spring element is arranged in the housing and presses the connection end of the conductor on the contact surface of the printed circuit board for the purpose of fixing the connection end during soldering. The modular unit is, in particular, a capacitive proximity sensor for a vehicle.
Abstract:
Interfaces for electrical (e.g., lighting) devices involve use of electrically conductive edge contacts arranged on or protruding from edges of printed circuit boards (PCBs) that provide or facilitate electrical connections to first and second externally accessible electrical contacts, such as may include threaded and foot contacts of a lighting device including a screw-shaped male base. First and/or second edge contacts of a PCB may protrude through first and second openings in a housing to form first and second externally accessible contact, or directly engage first and second externally accessible contact elements associated with (e.g., retained by) the housing. A contact element retained by a housing may define a slot in the interior of the housing to directly engage an edge contact of the PCB. Electric power is supplied to the PCB via edge contacts without need for intervening wires or soldered connections.
Abstract:
A printed circuit board includes at least one plated-through hole via drilled into at least one of a first layer on a first side of the printed circuit board and a second layer on a second side of the printed circuit board. The printed circuit board also includes a core section laminated between the first layer and the second layer, wherein a length of the core section is shorter than a length of the first layer and a length of the second layer. The printed circuit board further includes an open slot configured to house a connection tab of an electronic product connected to the printed circuit board, wherein the open slot is formed adjacent to the core section and between sections of the first layer and the second layer that are longer than the core section.
Abstract:
Daughter card assembly including a circuit board and leading and trailing connectors mounted to the circuit board. The leading and trailing connectors have mating ends that face in different directions along a board plane. The daughter card assembly also includes a support wall that is coupled to the circuit board and extends orthogonal to the circuit board. The support wall has a wall opening therethrough. The trailing connector is positioned on the circuit board such that the mating end substantially aligns with the wall opening. The daughter card assembly also includes a retention shroud that projects from an exterior surface of the support wall. The retention shroud defines a shroud passage that aligns with the wall opening. The shroud and wall openings form a receiving passage for receiving at least one of the trailing connector or a corresponding cable connector that mates with the trailing connector.
Abstract:
A battery pack includes a bare cell and a protection circuit assembly electrically connected to the bare cell. The protection circuit assembly includes a protection circuit board on which a protection module, a PTC thermistor, an external connection terminal, a first connection terminal and a second connection terminal are mounted. A first lead plate and a second lead plate are in contact with the first connection terminal and the second connection terminal, respectively. The protection circuit board defines opposite lateral edges and a first groove in each of the opposite lateral edges, and the first lead plate is exposed through the first groove.
Abstract:
A board connecting terminal includes a contact that comes into contact with a mate side terminal, an indent that comes into contact with a pad formed on a circuit board, a terminal attaching part connected to the indent to attach the board connecting terminal to the circuit board, and an engaging piece connected to the contact and having a part held by a holder on which the circuit board is mounted. In the terminal attaching part, when the board connecting terminal is attached to the circuit board, a part of the terminal attaching part enters a through hole passing through the circuit board in a thickness direction thereof to restrain the indent from moving in a planar direction of the circuit board.
