Abstract: A spectrometer 1A includes a light detection element 20 provided with a light passing part 21, a first light detection part 22, and a second light detection part 26, a support 30 fixed to the light detection element 20 such that a space S is formed, a first reflection part 11 provided in the support 30 and configured to reflect light L1 passing through the light passing part 21 in the space S, a second reflection part 12A provided in the light detection element 20 and configured to reflect the light L1 reflected by the first reflection part 11 in the space S, and a dispersive part 40A provided in the support 30 and configured to disperse and reflect the light L1 reflected by the second reflection part 12A to the first light detection part 22 in the space S. A plurality of second light detection parts 26 is disposed in a region surrounding the second reflection part 12A.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the field of optical systems. The envisaged multi-scan optical system is compact and stable. The system comprises an excitation source, a hydra fiber cable, a wavelength selector, an optical element, and a detector. The excitation source is configured to emit composite light. The hydra fiber cable has a head and a plurality of tentacles, and is configured to receive the composite light via a second lens. The plurality of tentacles is configured to emit the composite light towards the wavelength selector which includes a plurality of optical slits (s1-s8) and a plurality of shutters. The wavelength selector is configured to selectively collect and filter the composite light directed by a first lens and the plurality of tentacles by means of the plurality of shutters. The detector is configured to detect the plurality of spectral line scans reflected by the optical element for spectrometric analysis.

In one example, the slit element is mechanically movable into and out of the optical path.

Abstract: A spectrometer comprises a package having a stem and a cap, an optical unit arranged on the stem, and a lead pin penetrating through the stem. The optical unit has a dispersive part for dispersing and reflecting light entering from a light entrance part of the cap, a light detection element for detecting the light dispersed and reflected by the dispersive part, a support for supporting the light detection element such as to form a space between the dispersive part and the light detection element, a projection projecting from the support, and a wiring electrically connected to the light detection element. The projection is arranged at such a position as to be separated from the stem. The lead pin is electrically connected to the second terminal part while being disposed to the projection.

Abstract: A system and method for spectroscopic mapping, with configurable spatial resolution, of an object include a fiber optic bundle having a plurality of optical fibers arranged in a first array at an input end with each of the plurality of optical fibers spaced one from another and arranged in at least one linear array at an output end. A sensor associated with the imaging spectrometer converts the spectra to electrical output signals for processing by an associated computer.
