Abstract:
A compliant lead structure for mounting a circuit element to a PC board comprises a support body for supporting a circuit element, a plurality of elongated compliant cylindrical conductive lead members secured at an inner end to the support body and extending outward from the support body substantially perpendicular to a mounting plane of a PC board to which the support body is to be mounted and to a position for surface bonding to a PC board, the lead members having an elongated unrestricted section between the inner end and the outer end for enabling relative movement between the support body and a PC board to which the lead member is bonded, and a lead wire extends from a circuit element on the support body and connected to the lead member.
Abstract:
Provided is a MOSFET device for use with a printed circuit board (PCB) of a battery management system (BMS), the device including a semiconductor body; a metal conductor extending outwardly from a side of the semiconductor body; a plurality of power pins extending outwardly from at least one side of the semiconductor body, the power pins having tips bent downwardly; a gate pin extending outwardly from at least one side of the semiconductor body, wherein the tip of the gate pin is raised or elevated relative to the tips of the power pins so as to avoid electrical contact with the one of the spaced apart copper plates, and wherein the tip of the gate pin is connected to a circuit of the battery management system (BMS).
Abstract:
An electronic device may comprise a printed circuit board (PCB) and a power source and processing circuitry mounted to the PCB. The PCB comprises one or more power planes and a plurality of power vias electrically connected to the power planes. The power sources are electrically connected to the power planes. The processing circuitry is electrically connected to the plurality of power vias through a plurality of interconnects. Respective diameters of the plurality of power vias vary based on location.
Abstract:
A main body of an electronic part has multiple electrodes, to which multiple terminals are respectively connected. The terminals include a fuse terminal and a normal terminal, each of which extends from the main body to a printed board so that the main body is supported at a position above and separated from a board surface of the printed board. The fuse terminal has an intermediate portion between an electrode-connected portion and a land-connected portion. The intermediate portion has a cut-off portion having a smaller width than other portions of the fuse terminal, so that the cut-off portion is melted down when excess current flows in the fuse terminal. The intermediate portion extends in a direction parallel to the board surface or in a direction inclined to the board surface at an angle smaller than 90 degrees.
Abstract:
A printed circuit assembly (PCA) that provides for a method of rebuilding an electrically operated automatic transmission solenoid module. The PCA allows for a repairable yet rugged interconnection of several solenoids that reside within the span of the module assembly.
Abstract:
A structure of a light emitting diode is provided. In one aspect, a light emitting diode structure comprises a light emitting diode, a conductive frame, and a substrate. The conductive frame is electrically connected to the light emitting diode and has a fixing hole connecting a first side of the conductive frame and a second side of the conductive frame opposite the first side. The fixing hole has a ladder-shaped inner sidewall with a first radius of the inner sidewall adjacent the first side smaller than a second radius of the inner sidewall adjacent the second side. The substrate has a conductive pillar that is received in the fixing hole by entering the fixing hole from the first side of the conductive frame and deformed such that the conductive pillar adheres to the ladder-shaped inner sidewall of the fixing hole.
Abstract:
A packaging board of the type having board terminals soldered on a printed board and including an insulation support member made of a resin disposed on a printed board having tubular support portions configured to receive board terminals, visual recognition windows configured for visually recognizing soldering portions of the board terminals inserted into the printed board through the windows, and engaging portions that engage the board terminals and define insertion amounts of the board terminals.
Abstract:
A battery pack that prevents a solder material from flowing down due to a tab electrically connecting a battery to a protective circuit board, thereby improving reliability, coupling efficiency, safety, and productivity is disclosed. The battery pack includes: a multi-cell battery having a positive electrode and a negative electrode, in which a plurality of battery cells are electrically connected to each other; a protective circuit board electrically connected to the multi-cell battery and having via holes; a pair of conductive tabs each including an insert portion inserted into a corresponding via hole and a bending portion integrally extending from the insert portion and bent from the insert portion; and a pair of soldering portions each being formed at at least some portions of a corresponding insert portion and a corresponding bending portion.
