Abstract:
The disclosure includes a system and method for using a robot to prevent risk to a user by identifying a point of interest, determining whether the point of interest is a risk for the user with visual impairments based on the user's position, responsive to a first predetermined threshold for distance being met, determining where to move the robot to mitigate the risk to the user, and instructing the robot to move to a new location. The robot may move between the user and the point of interest to prevent the user from colliding with the point of interest. The robot may use an auditory or tactile warning to warn the user. The tactile warning may be transmitted to a walking stick or a belt worn by the user.
Abstract:
Some adult devices are ostensibly marketed to improve female sexual experience female by offering exercises to address relaxed vaginal muscles from birth, age, surgery etc. and for reducing incontinence. However, such devices suffer from variable placement by the user both in terms of orientation and penetrative depth such that the “results” are not reproducible and captured data used to provide feedback to the user and/or providing visual/audible prompts is flawed. Accordingly, it would be beneficial to provide a device with reproducible placement and data for enhancing the usability/benefit of the exercise regimen. It would be further beneficial for the device to either provide this exercise regime as part of a wider assessment of sexual wellness or as part of a sexual stimulation activity thereby reducing the focus on “exercise” to derive the benefits of improved pelvic muscle control.
Abstract:
The proposed method and devices provide for an effective improvement of the blood flow in the vessels of a human's extremities due to generation of an ante-grade pressure wave of blood synchronized with phases of the cardiac cycle with the help of compression impulses. The devices provide an improved accuracy of the time and amplitude characteristics of the compression impulses and functioning in modes of generation both the ante-grade wave and external counter-pulsation.

Devices, systems, and methods for promoting female sexual wellness and function. The devices, systems, and methods encourage clitoral engorgement using suction over the clitoris combined with vibratory stimulation
Abstract:
An instrumentation absolute value differential amplifier (212) is used as part of an electroencephalogram, electromyogram or electrocardiogram to quantify the excitation state of a user, processing and transmitting this information as a control signal for a user feedback device. In one embodiment, this feedback device comprises a wireless sex toy (500) which responds to the sent control information, acting as a mind-controlled sex toy. This provides a simple, intuitive, aesthetically appealing interface for creating a unique sexual experience. The use of an instrumentation absolute value differential amplifier is sufficient to monitor the desired signals while reducing the number of parts required and allowing for less precise tolerances than traditional biological monitoring circuits, thus decreasing the cost of production.
Abstract:
A device for providing elliptical path motion to skin or other surface. The device includes a motor, shaft, and a cam having at least one offset axis cam lobe for creating offset motion. A mounting bracket assembly that has a pair of arms associated with the motor can be moved by the cam in an elliptical path having X-axis, Y-axis and, in exemplary embodiments, Z-axis movement. The mounting bracket assembly may have two brackets, each being associated with an oscillating plate. Each oscillating plate may have a plurality of protrusions or tufts of bristles protruding therefrom. Elliptical movement of the oscillating plates creates offset elliptical motion of the protrusions associated with each oscillating plate. A fluid delivery system may be incorporated to provide fluid through the device. The device may be used for cleaning, stimulation or treatment of skin.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an adjustable bed handheld remote control that may include a handheld housing, a touch sensor on a front face of the handheld housing, a transmitter and the like. The touch sensor may be presented in a slider form and may be adapted to facilitate a user in adjusting a frame position of an adjustable bed. The transmitter may be electrically coupled to a processor and may receive input from the touch sensor, for communication control signals to the adjustable bed in accordance with the input received from the touch sensor.
Abstract:
A pool or spa control system includes, a main control panel housing a motherboard, relay bank, and local terminal. The motherboard includes a processor in two-way communication with a relay bank socket via an internal bus. The relay bank is connectable to the relay bank socket and includes a processor, memory, plurality of relays, connector, and an internal bus establishing two-way communication between the relay bank processor and the motherboard processor when the relay bank is connected to the relay bank socket. The local terminal includes a control processor, user interface, and memory, and is in two-way communication with the motherboard processor for allowing user control of the system. The control processor automatically discovers and assigns the relay bank a network address upon connection of the relay bank to the motherboard relay bank socket, and the relay bank returns relay bank parameter information, which the local terminal stores in memory.
Abstract:
A mobile compression integument for applying controllable scrolling or intermittent sequential forces, such as compression forces, to the body and limbs of a user comprises an elongated fabric body sized to encircle a limb of a user, one or more shape-changing elements carried by the fabric body and configured to apply a compression pressure to the limb through the fabric body upon changing shape in response to a stimulus, and a micro-processor based controller for selectively actuating the one or more shape-changing elements to reduce the effective diameter of the integument encircling the limb, to thereby apply pressure to the limb.
Abstract:
Exemplary embodiments of massaging devices are disclosed herein. One exemplary embodiment includes a piston having a longitudinal axis, a massaging head connected to the piston, a motor located on a first side of the longitudinal axis and a handle located on a second side of the longitudinal axis. A drive mechanism for moving the piston and massage head is also included.
