    Abstract: La invencion se relaciona con un proceso para aislar metilglicinanitrilo-N,N-diacetonitrilo (MGDN) de una emulsion acuosa que comprende MGDN y tiene un contenido de MGDN de 3-50% en peso en un cristalizador, que comprende los pasos: (a) la emulsion acuosa, empezando de una temperatura superior al punto de solidificacion, se enfria a una temperatura inferior al punto de solidificacion, el regimen de enfriamiento promediado sobre el tiempo no excediendo 5 K/h, hasta que substancialmente la totalidad del MGDN emulsionado se ha solidificado, (b) la suspension acuosa resultante se enfria adicionalmente y/o concentra, y el regimen de enfriamiento puede ser mayor que en el paso (a).
