Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning material for a hot press which is controlled in thickness reduction with the passage of time and stable physically even when used repeatedly in the hot press and can demonstrate good cushioning properties when used in the hot press. SOLUTION: The cushioning material for the hot press has a nonwoven fabric made of a fiber web 4. The fiber web 4 contains first fibers 4a mainly comprising a first component having a relatively low softening temperature and second fibers 4b mainly comprising a second component having a relatively high softening temperature. The nonwoven fabric is compression-treated at a temperature not lower than the softening temperature of the first component and lower than the softening temperature of the second component. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a porous material in which complicated and fine penetrated portions and recesses are patterned, and to provide a patterned porous formed body or nonwoven fabric in which a plated layer is selectively formed on the surfaces of the penetrated portions and of the recesses. SOLUTION: A mask having pattern-shaped penetrated portions is arranged on at least one side of a porous formed body or nonwoven fabric, fluid or fluid containing abrasive grains is blown from above the mask, and penetrated portions, recesses or both of them with opening shape of perforation of the mask transferred thereon are formed on the porous formed body or nonwoven fabric. In the porous formed body or nonwoven fabric, and in an electric circuit component, a plated layer is selectively formed on the surfaces of the penetrated portions, recesses or both of them. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic fiber nonwoven fabric having high density, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The nonwoven fabric by a wet type method comprises inorganic fibers containing bundled inorganic fibers and a binder component for bonding the fibers in which the average number of the bundled fibers is ≥1.5 and ≤20 and the average Z/X value represented by Z/X value=(number of adjacent fibers in the thickness direction of each bundle)/(number of adjacent fibers in the plane direction of each bundle) in the cross section of the nonwoven fabric is ≤0.9. The method for producing the wet type nonwoven fabric comprises a process for dispersing the inorganic fibers into an aqueous medium in the presence of an anionic dispersion stabilizer, a process for adding a cationic compound to the obtained fiber dispersion to bundle the fibers and producing the fiber dispersion having the bundled fiber bundles, a process for subjecting the obtained fiber dispersion having the bundled fiber bundles to wet sheet making and a process for applying a binder to the obtained sheet. Abstract:
Biodegradable printed circuit boards, or PCBs, may be produced from substrate sheets that include at least one biodegradable polymer. In addition, the electrical traces used on the PCBs, may also include a biodegradable polymer incorporated with an electrically conductive material. The PCBs may be composted to degrade the PCBs, and the
