PURPOSE: A variable engine for equipping a plurality of engines is provided to restrict the power transmission of engines which are separately arranged into two lines and to enable to drive a vehicle with the malfunction of one engine by using the other engine. CONSTITUTION: A variable engine for equipping a plurality of engines comprises first and second heat engines(11,12), first and second transmissions(31,32), a main spindle gear(41), a power control unit(40), and a differential gear(60). The main spindle gear receives power by selectively connecting to a first or second line engine. The power control unit restricts the power delivered to the main spindle gear from the first or second line engine. The differential gear receives the power from the main spindle gear for delivering to a wheel through an output shaft.

PURPOSE: A crankless engine is provided to reduce a weight and a size of an engine by linearly reciprocating a connecting rod according to rotation of a main driving shaft and an auxiliary driving shaft. CONSTITUTION: A crankless engine comprises an engine block(10), a piston(30), a connecting rod(40), a main driving shaft(50), an auxiliary driving shaft(60), and a gear assembly unit(70). The piston is installed in order to linearly reciprocate to each combustion chamber of the engine block. The connecting rod is formed at lower part of the piston and comprises rack gears(41a) on both sides. The main driving shaft and the auxiliary driving shaft are installed on both sides of the engine block and individually comprise a suction and explosion gear unit(51) and a compression and exhaust gear unit(61). The gear assembly unit comprises a direction change gear(71), and the direction change gear is located between a first rotation gear(52) of the main driving shaft and a second rotation gear(62) of the auxiliary driving shaft.

The present invention relates to system and method for cooling an engine of a vehicle, and the system and method measure temperature of a cylinder head of an engine, judge whether the measured temperature of the cylinder head becomes the same or smaller than a predetermined temperature or not, move cooling water in the cylinder head and cylinder block to a separate cooling water tank when the temperature of the cylinder head becomes the same or smaller than the predetermined temperature, judge whether the measured temperature of the cylinder head becomes the same or greater than a predetermined temperature or not, and supply the cooling water stored in the cooling water tank to the cylinder head or the cylinder block. PURPOSE: An internal combustion engine without a crank shaft is provided to solve decrease in fuel efficiency by variably operating a cylinder according to a vehicle condition. CONSTITUTION: An internal combustion engine without a crank shaft comprises an engine block(1), a power shaft(10), and a cylinder separator(30). The engine block is in a driving or dormant sate, and comprises a plurality of cylinders with a power system. The engine block comprises a cylinder head with a valve system for combustion exhaust and fuel supply, and comprises an oil pan at the lower part. A power shaft unit converts the power from the power system into engine output to be delivered to a transmission. The power from the power system is not converted into the engine output when the engine output is in a dormant state. The cylinder separator separates the power system from the power shaft unit by an engine control unit(60) which operates a plurality of cylinders. CONSTITUTION: A variable cylinder engine system with twin crank shafts comprises a first engine(1), a second engine(3), and a power conversion unit(7) The first engine comprises two banks with twin crank shafts(12) operated by a start motor(14), and comprises a torque output shaft(2) which delivers the output of the two banks a transmission(8). The second engine comprises another two banks with the twin crank shafts operated by the start motor, and comprises a connection output shaft which delivers the output of the another two banks to the torque output shaft. The power conversion unit delivers the torque of the connection output shaft to the torque output shaft by an engine control unit.
