    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for preparing a bamboo leaf extract is provided to quickly extract and to selectively obtain useful substances according to an extraction condition. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a bamboo leaf extract comprises a step of treating bamboo leaves with a subcritical solvent. The subcritical solvent is prepared by treating with a mixture of water and ethanol at 120-220 deg. C and 100-2500 PSI. The volume ratio of water and ethanol is 0.1-10:1.
