Abstract: The present invention relates to an active steering control device and method for a railroad vehicle, and more specifically, to an active steering control device and method for a railroad vehicle, which can smoothly steer a moving railroad vehicle by estimating the radius of curvature of a curved line in real-time when the train moves on the curved line and controlling an optimal steering angle of the wheel and axle according to the estimated radius of curvature, and can remarkably reduce an angle of attack which exists between the curved line and the wheel and axle. The invention includes: a measurer that measures drive data of the moving railroad vehicle; an estimator that estimates the radius of curvature of the curved line on which the railroad vehicle is moving, by using the data measured in the measuring unit; a calculator that sets a target value of the steering angle of the wheel and axle of the moving railroad vehicle, by using the radius of curvature estimated in the estimator; a controller that generates a steering control signal on the wheel and axle by comparing an actual steering angle of the wheel and axle with the target value of the steering angle of the wheel and axle, which is set in the calculator; and an actuator that steers the wheel and axle using the steering signal of the controller.

Abstract: 본 발명은 3절 링크 방식을 이용한 철도차량용 조향대차에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 곡선구간 주행시 발생하는 센터 피봇의 요(yaw)방향 변위를 3절 링크로 전달하여 곡선구간 주행시 레디얼 조향(radial steering)을 추종함으로써 곡선반경에 의한 레일과 차륜 사이의 공격각(attack angle)을 저감하고, 차륜과 궤도 사이의 횡압을 저감시킬 수 있는 3절 링크 방식을 이용한 철도차량용 조향대차에 관한 것이다.
본 발명은 철도차량용 조향대차에 있어서, 대차 프레임의 하부에는 철도차량의 주행시 발생하는 센터피봇의 요변위를 전달받아 전,후방 윤축의 조향을 발생시키는 3절 링크로 이루어진 조향장치가 설치된 것을 특징으로 한다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A steering bogie vehicle using a center pivot yaw movement for a railway vehicle is provided to improve steering performance which is insufficient due to a magnetic steering method, to reduce lateral pressure between a wheel and a rail, and to reduce an angle of a rail and a wheel due to the radius of curvature. CONSTITUTION: A steering bogie vehicle(100) using a center pivot yaw movement for a railway vehicle comprises a steering device(60) which steers a railway vehicle by using the concavity direction displacement of the center pivot(18) generated in the driving of a railway vehicle and includes a driving part(20) transferring the yaw displacement created in the center pivot and a steering part(30) steering front/rearward wheel axles(12a,12b) by using the yaw displacement of the center pivot delivered through the driving part. The driving part includes a first and a second center pivot links(22a,22b) which are fixed on the center pivot and a first and a second connecting rods(24a,24b) which are respectively connected and installed on the first and the second center pivot links.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A system and a method for measuring relative displacement between a wheel and a rail for a railway vehicle using induced current are provided to stably measure relative displacement between a wheel and a rail even in a curved section. CONSTITUTION: A system for measuring relative displacement between a wheel and a rail for a railway vehicle using induced current comprises an induced current measuring unit(100) and a data processing unit(200). The induced current measuring unit has an iron core, an input coil(120), and a detection coil(130). The iron core is installed in a railway vehicle. The input coil is wound around one side of the iron core. The detection coil is wound around the other side of the iron core and detects induced current. The data processing unit calculates relative displacement between a wheel and a rail using the induced current detected from the induced current measuring unit.

Abstract: A self steering bogie for railway vehicle is provided to steer the wheel axle with small force on a curved track and thereby improve the traveling performance of the railway vehicle. A self steering bogie for railway vehicle comprises front and rear wheel axle steering devices(200,200A). The front and rear wheel axle steering devices are installed in a sliding room of a bogie frame(101) to steer respective front and rear axles(102) of the bogie. Each wheel axle steering device is composed of a connecting rod(204), a cam(202), a driven element(205), and a slider. The connecting rod is connected with the vehicle body at one side and hinged with the cam at the other side. The other side of the cam is hinged with the bogie frame. The driven element is driven to slide by the rotation of the cam. The slider is equipped in a primary suspension into one body and restricted by the driven element.
