CONSTITUTION: An automotive battery system protective device comprises a battery system (1), an air bag module (3), a collision detection sensor (5), and an airbag controller (7). The battery system is arranged in the rear side of a vehicle. The air bag module is installed in the rear of the vehicle behind the battery system. The air bag module absorbs shock in the rear collision of the vehicle. The collision detection sensor is installed on a vehicle body to detect the rear collision of the vehicle. The airbag controller receives signal from the collision detection sensor to control the operation of the air bag module.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for controlling a sliding operation of a press is provided to compensate for a thermal expansion thickness of an article panel caused by frictional heat generated when upper and lower molds and a blank holder make contact with the article panel. CONSTITUTION: A temperature detecting sensor detects an internal temperature of an upper mold(S10). Upon receiving the internal temperature from the temperature detecting sensor, a control section compares the internal temperature of the upper mold with a predetermined reference temperature so as to determine whether the detected temperature exceeds the predetermined reference temperature(S20). If the detected temperature is lower than the predetermined reference temperature, a normal operation is carried out(S21). If the detected temperature exceeds the predetermined reference temperature, a thermal expansion compensating thickness is calculated based on thermal expansion coefficient of the upper mold(S30). Then, a slide control motor is driven in order to compensate for a height of a slide corresponding to the thermal expansion compensating thickness of the upper mold(S40).
