Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for setting a reference location of an actuator in an automated manual transmission which includes a normality confirming step (S10) for confirming whether the automated manual transmission is normally operated and a learning step (S20) for learning the reference location if the automated manual transmission is abnormal. The automated manual transmission does not include a location sensor for grasping the location of a finger and includes the actuator driven by a motor. The automated manual transmission may rapidly and accurately initialize the reference location of the finger.
