PURPOSE: An electron emitting device and an X-ray generating device prevent the loss of the device due to arcing by preventing electric charges from being charged in insulating materials. CONSTITUTION: A gate electrode of a mesh structure is separated from a cathode electrode (11). Multiple gate spacers (12) are arranged between the cathode electrode and the gate electrode. Multiple electron emission sources (15) are alternately arranged with one among the multiple gate spacers between the cathode electrode and the gate electrode.

Provided is an x-ray generator including a cooling block. The x-ray generator comprises a housing; a cathode block arranged inside the housing and emitting electrons by a field emission method; an anode block arranged inside the housing and generating an x-ray by the electrons emitted from the cathode block; and a heat dissipation block contacted with the cathode block and discharging the heat generated from the cathode block to the outside.
