Abstract:
A styrene-butadiene latex binder for ink-jet paper is provided to ensure low negative charge density and predetermined glass transition temperature, to exhibit excellent price competitiveness and paint workability, and to save a drying energy cost. A styrene-butadiene latex binder for ink-jet paper comprises 20-85 parts by weight of a styrene-based monomer, 10-70 parts by weight of a butadiene-based monomer, 0.5-15 parts by weight of a vinyl cyan monomer, 0.1-1.5 parts by weight of an ethylenically unsaturated acid monomer, and 1-25 parts by weight of a monomer copolymerizable with the monomers, and has a glass transition temperature of 20-50 °C. The ethylenically unsaturated acid monomer is at least one selected from the group comprising unsaturated carboxylic acids and unsaturated polycarboxylic acid alkyl esters having at least one carboxylic acid group.

A binocular/multi-view stereo matching apparatus using object/background separation and image segmentation and a method therefor are provided to classify a binocular/multi-view image acquired from a video device into an object region and a background region, segment the binocular/multi-view image according to the classified regions, and perform stereo matching on the basis of the segmented regions to reduce mismatching by a shielding region. A region judging unit(130) classifies and judges a region of a binocular/multi-view image into an object region and a background region, and generates object and background separation information for the binocular/multi-view image according to the judged result. A disparity estimating unit(140) segments the binocular/multi-view image according to a similar region, and separately obtains an object disparity map and a background disparity map by using the segmented binocular/multi-view image and the generated object and background separation information. A disparity map synthesizing unit(150) synthesizes the object disparity map and the background disparity map, and generates a scene disparity map for the binocular/multi-view image.

A magnetoelectric susceptibility measurement system is provided to widen an application range by measuring a magnetoelectric effect of magnetoelectric materials in low and high frequency bands. A magnetoelectric susceptibility measurement system is composed of a magnet(120) for applying a DC(Direct Current) magnetic field(Hbias) to a magnetoelectric sample(110), an AC(Alternating Current) induction coil for applying an AC magnetic field(deltaH) to the magnetoelectric sample, a charge amplifier for applying a charge signal of the magnetoelectric sample vibrated by the AC magnetic field, and a phase sensitive detector for detecting a charge signal amplified in the charge amplifier while supplying induction current to the AC induction coil. The electromagnet or superconductive magnet is used. The charge amplifier has a resistor, a condenser, and an operational amplifier connected in parallel.

A low drop-out regulator circuit with overvoltage and reverse-voltage protection functions and a method thereof are provided to enhance reliability by implementing a circuit for protecting internal circuits in overvoltage and reverse-voltage. A regulator circuit includes a pass transistor(2), first and second reference voltage generators(5,8), a feedback circuit(1), an operational amplifier, a voltage/current converter(4), and a current mirror(3). The pass transistor receives a voltage applied to an external power supply line, and generates an internal supply voltage in response to a control signal. The first and second reference voltage generators which are connected to the pass transistor and the internal power supply line, respectively, generate voltages. The feedback circuit, which is connected to the pass transistor, detects currents flowing at the pass transistor and generates a feedback signal. The operational amplifier connected between the first and second reference voltage generators, compares a reference signals with the feedback signal and generates the control signal based on the comparison. The voltage/current converter converts the voltage from the operation amplifier into an output current. The current mirror, which is connected between the external power supply line and the pass transistor, supplies the current from the voltage/current converter to a resistor, which is connected between the feedback circuit and ground, and adjusts a gate voltage of the pass transistor.

An IBAD(Ion Beam Assisted Deposition) system for fabricating a metal wire having a biaxial-alignment property is provided to control a deposition region of a metal substrate moving at high speed in continuous deposition on the long metal substrate. An IBAD system(10) for fabricating a superconducting wire includes a transfer unit(400), a heating member(500), a deposition member(100), an ion injection member(200), and a control member(700). The transfer unit includes a first reel member(422a) and a second reel member(422b) for multi-turn of a metal wire on a deposition region(42) to continuously deposit a biaxial-alignment thin film on the metal wire. The heating member heats the multi-turned metal wire. The deposition member deposits material on the metal wire passing through the deposition region. The ion injection member irradiates ion-beams to the thin film deposited on the metal wire. The control member controls the deposition region.

A method for preparing hydrogen is provided to produce the hydrogen efficiently through a steam reforming reaction of LNG(Liquefied Natural Gas), by using a metal catalyst supported on an alumina Xerogel carrier. At least one metal catalyst, which is selected from a group consisting of Pt, Au, Pd, Rh, La, Ce, Yb, Ni, Cu, Ag, Ru, Ir, Os, Co, V, Fe, Sn, Ca, and Mg, is supported on an alumina Xerogel carrier. The metal catalyst contains a weight percent of 1-50 wt%, based on 100 wt% of the alumina Xerogel carrier. Steam and LNG containing methane gas and ethane gas are flown at a space rate of 2,000-30,000 ml/h.g-catalyst, within the metal catalyst. Further, a mixing volume rate of the LNG/the steam is 1 to 10, and a mixing volume rate of the methane gas/the ethane gas is 9 to 99.9.

A CMOS reference current generator is provided to improve temperature stability of an overall integrated circuit by compensating for a temperature variation. A source current generator(1) comprises a current mirror having CMOS transistors cascaded in two stages, and generates constant source current. A reference current generator(2) is parallel-connected to the source current generator and generates a mirror current, which is greater than the source current by n times. A feedback loop(3) is parallel-connected to the source current generator and compensates for a variation in the source current according to a temperature variation. An initial start up circuit unit(4) is connected to the source current generator and activates a circuit at an initial voltage application timing. The feedback loop includes two CMOS(Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) elements.

An antibacterial homoserine lactone derivative is represented by a formula(1) or (2), wherein R1 is an aromatic hydrocarbon including N or an aromatic hydrocarbon including amino or nitro as a substituent; and R2 is a non-substituted aromatic hydrocarbon or an aromatic hydrocarbon including C1-4 alkyl or amino as a substituent. A method for removing microorganism comprises a step of contacting the microorganism with the antibacterial homoserine lactone derivative, wherein the microorganism includes Gram positive bacillus or Gram negative bacillus.
