Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate the mounting of a reinforcing member onto an outer casing and secure stabilized mounting strength by a method wherein a hoop, coated with a coating on the surface thereof previously, is bent to form the left-and-right side plates as well as the ceiling plate of the outer casing while a reinforcing member made of a steel sheet is attached and secured to the rear surface of the coated hoop through fusion welding by one surface spot welding. CONSTITUTION:A cabinet 10, constituting the outer casing 11 of a refrigerator, is formed of a left side plate 12, a right side plate 13, a ceiling plate 14 and a double flanges 15 formed at the front opening rim, which are formed by bending one sheet of coated hoop coated previously. A reinforcing member 21, made of a steel sheet, is provided with a longitudinal side 21a and a lateral side 21b, which are attached and secured to the rear surface of rear flanges 15c at the left and right corners of the front surface of the cabinet 10 through fusion welding by one side spot welding. In this case, an electric current and a pressure are concentrated on projections 21e provided on the reinforcing member 21 whereby the projections 21e are molten by heat perfectly and are secured to the main body 10b of the steel plate. A stabilized mounting strength may be obtained with a simple device in such a manner.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent movement of a hinge by a method wherein a groove part is formed on the front of a mid partition wall integrally molded with an inner case to mold a recessed part in the groove part and on the rear of the recessed part, a hinge fixture is screwed down on a fixing metal fitting fastened on a flange of an outer case, and a retaining part is formed on the hinge fixture for almost closely adhering a radiation pipe extended to the groove part onto the rear of the mid partition wall to secure the prevention of misting near the hinge fixture. CONSTITUTION: A groove part 17a is provided on the front part of a mid partition wall 17 integrally molded with an inner case 18 to guide a radiation pipe 24 to the groove part, or a recessed part 17c is formed in the groove part 17a toward the rear of the body. While adhered closely onto the rear of the recessed part, a metal fixture 21 is fastened on the rear of a flange 2a of an outer case 2 and a hinge fixture 22 is screwed down on the metal fixture 21. Moreover, a retaining part 22a for the radiation pipe 24 is provided on the hinge fixture 22. With such an arrangement, the hinge fixture 22 is firmly fixed while the radiation pipe 24 is adhered almost closely onto the rear of the mid partition plate 20 by the retaining part 22a of the hinge fixture, thereby enabling accurate thermal conduction of the radiation pipe 24 to the mid partition plate 20.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To achieve an accurate prevention of frosting on the front rim part of an outer case and further, a lowering of power consumption by a method wherein a heat radiation pipe is mounted on the rear of a double flange of an outer case and a highly heat conductive hot melt is applied on the perimeter of the heat radiation pipe by a nozzle of a robot or the like to raise a heat radiation efficiency of the heat radiation pipe. CONSTITUTION: A heat radiation pipe 2 is mounted on the rear of a double flange of an outer case 11 by a fixing metal fitting 13 and a hot melt 14 is applied thereon by a nozzle 15 of a robot being bent from a front opening part of an outer case 2. The tip 15a of the nozzle 15 is worked roughly in a U shape so that the hot melt 14 penetrates on both sides of the heat radiation pipe 12. The heat radiation pipe 12 directly contacts the outer case 11 and positively transmits heat to the outer case 11 by the hot melt 14 and the radiation of heat to the outside air is increased. To the contrary, the quantity of heat transferring from a turned-back flange 11b and an internal flange 11d into the storage decreases.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent infiltration of defrosted water into a heat insulting foam material while hindering the movement of a suction link part during the filling of the heat insulating foam material being foamed by a method wherein a pipe guide hole to a freezing compartment at a pipe link part of a suction pipe is provided at an inner upper part of an inner case and an engaging part is provided at the rear part of a mid partition wall heat insulating material to fix the suction pipe. CONSTITUTION: A retaining part 16a is formed at the rear part of a mid partition wall heat insulating material 16 so that a suction pipe 19 and a heat reserving tube 21 housing a capillary tube 20 inside are fitted thereinto and the heat reserving tube 21 is fixed by a tape 23. A suction link part 19a and a capillary link part 20a are led out of a pipe guide hole 17a provided on an inner top surface of a freezing compartment 5 in an inner case 17. The retaining part 16a of the mid partition wall heat insulating material 16 eliminates the horizontal movement of the suction pipe 19 thereby getting rid of the positional deviation of the suction link part 19a and the capillary link part 20a. This enables the preventing of the deformation and breaking of the pipe as caused by a foaming jig and the pipe guide hole 17a of the inner case 17 located at the inner upper part of the freezing compartment keeps defrosted water from infiltrating into the heat insulating foam material from the suction link part 19a.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent infiltration of defrosted water into a heat insulating foamed material while preventing bending or the like of a pipe caused by a foaming jig by arranging a pipe guide port to a freezing compartment at a pipe link part of a suction pipe at an inner upper part of an inner case to form a bent part positionally shifted on the vertical line from the pipe guide hole in the suction pipe. CONSTITUTION: A suction link part 19a and a capillary link part 20a are led out of a pipe guide hole 17a provided on an inner top surface of a freezing compartment 5 of an inner case 17 and a suction pipe 19 has a bent part 19b formed in the direction opposite to the pipe guide hole 17a of the inner case 17. When the bent part 19b of the suction pipe 19 is mounted on the body of a refrigerator, forcible vertical movement thereof allows absorbing of an allowance and variations in the length dimension of the suction pipe 19 to prevent the deformation or the bending of the pipe as caused by a foaming jig. Since the pipe guide hole 17a of the inner case 17 is located at an inner upper part of the freezing compartment, defrosted water of frost on the pipe will not infiltrate into the heating insulating foam material from the suction link part 19a.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To improve heat radiation efficiency and prevent strength of a body from being deteriorated by disposing one side of a heat radiation pipe within a double flanges of an outer box and further disposing the other side such that a part of an inside flange is cut out with a part of the outer box into a pipe derivation part, and engaging a reinforcing plate with the pipe derivation part. CONSTITUTION: An inside flange 15-d includes a pipe derivation part 15-e where a part of a side is cut out, and a heat radiation pipe 16 makes contact with an outer box 15 while including an extension part 16-a extending from one side to the back of a middle partition front plate 8, and the other side makes contact with an outer box 15 and is fixed with a hot melt 11. On opposite sides of an upper corner thereof a corner bent part 16-b is formed toward the back of a refrigerator body l and is derived from a folded part 16-e of a corresponding part of the pipe derivation part 15-e to the back of the inside flange 15-d and makes contact with the back of the corresponding part. A reinforcing plate 17 formed with a spring material is engaged with the pipe derivation part 15-e. Thus, in the heat radiation pipe 16 heat is actively transmitted to the outer box 12, but oppositely a heat amount invading into the refrigerator is reduced.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To improve a heat radiating efficiency of a thermal radiation pipe by a method wherein a fixing fitting formed with a pipe holding part and a guide part is installed at a double flange of an outer box, the radiation pipe is abutted against the rear surface of the double flange of the outer box by this fixing fitting. CONSTITUTION: A fixing fittings 13 is loaded to an inner flange 11-d of an outer box 11 with an engaging section 13-a under utilization of spring force, the radiation pipe 12 is fixed with a pipe holding part 13-b in such a way that it is abutted against the outer box 11 at a rear part of the inner flange 11-d. The guide 13-c formed at the fixing fitting 13 facilitates a prevention of scar of the radiation pipe 12 and its installing operation when the radiation pipe 12 is fixed to it. Further, it is rigidly fixed to the outer box 11 with a thermoplastic resin 14 (hot melt). In this way, since the radiation pipe 12 is directly contacted with the outer box 11 and heat is positively transmitted to the outer box 11 through the hot melt 14, resulting in that an amount of thermal radiation to the surrounding atmosphere is increased, and further a heating calorie entered from either a fold-back flange 11-b or the inner flange 11-d into the refrigerator is reduced.
