A connection member is provided to enable easy connection work for connecting a light source to an electric substrate by including a light source terminal insertion part. A connection member for connecting a light source(41) emitting light beam to an electric substrate(48) comprises a light source terminal insertion part. A light source terminal is inserted to an end of the connection member. The light source terminal insertion portion, passing through the electric substrate, is provided at the other end of the connection member.

An assembly is provided which includes a first circuit panel having a top surface, a first dielectric element and first conductive traces disposed on the first dielectric element. In addition, a second circuit panel has a bottom surface, a second dielectric element and second conductive traces disposed on the second dielectric element, where at least a portion of the second circuit panel overlies at least a portion of the first circuit panel. The assembly further includes an interconnect circuit panel having a third dielectric element which has a front surface, a rear surface opposite the front surface, a top end extending between the front and rear surfaces, a bottom end extending between the front and rear surfaces, and a plurality of interconnect traces disposed on the dielectric element. The bottom end of the interconnect element abuts the top surface of the first circuit panel and the top end abuts the bottom surface of the second circuit panel, where at least some of the first conductive traces are in conductive communication with the second conductive traces through the interconnect traces.

Methods for calibrating a photocontrol device having at least one flexible mounting leg mounting the photosensor to a circuit board and being electrically coupled to activate a switching device and calibrated photocontrol devices are provided. A photocontrol device is positioned proximate a light source. An aperture is positioned between the photosensor and the light source and an angle between the at least one flexible mounting leg and the circuit board is adjusted to calibrate a sensitivity of the photocontrol device to light from the light source passing through the aperture.

A second substrate is positioned relative to a first substrate having phase-changeable bumps, such as solder bumps, between them, wherein the second substrate has a first face adjacent the first substrate, a second face remote from the first substrate, and at least one edge wall between the first and second faces. The phase-changeable bumps are liquefied to establish an equilibrium position of the first and second substrates relative to one another. At least a portion of the second face is pushed away from the equilibrium position towards the first substrate, to a new position, without applying external force to the first face other than spring forces of the phase-changeable bumps that are liquefied, and without applying external force to any edge wall. Thus, only spring forces of the phase-changeable bumps that are liquefied oppose the pushing. The phase-changeable bumps that are liquefied then are solidified, to maintain the new position.

Es wird ein Halter (01) zur elektrischen Kontaktierung und mechanischen Befestigung mindestens einer SMD-Leuchtdiode (02) beschrieben. Der Halter weist wenigstens zwei unter einem Winkel zueinander angeordneten Montageflächen (03, 04, 05) auf, zumindest eine erste Montagefläche für die mindestens eine SMD-Leuchtdiode (02) und zumindest eine zweite Montagefläche (04, 05) zur Montage des Halters (01) auf einem Leuchtmittelträger. Die mindestens eine erste Montagefläche (03) weist in einer durch die jeweilige erste Montagefläche (03) gebildeten Ebene liegende elektrische Anschlüsse (31, 32, 33) auf, welche bei der Montage einer SMD-Leuchtdiode (02) auf der ersten Montagefläche die SMD-Leuchtdiode (02) elektrisch kontaktieren. Die mindestens eine zweite Montagefläche (04, 05) weist ebenfalls elektrische Anschlüsse (41, 42, 43, 51, 52, 53) auf, welche bei der Montage des Halters (01) auf einem Leuchtmittelträger elektrische Leiterbahnen des Leuchtmittelträgers elektrisch kontaktieren. Die elektrischen Anschlüsse (31, 32, 33, 41, 42, 43, 51, 52, 53) der ersten und der zweiten Montageflächen (04, 05) des Halters (01) sind derart elektrisch miteinander verbunden, dass an den elektrischen Anschlüssen (31, 32, 33) der mindestens einen ersten Montagefläche (03) eine elektrische Spannung anliegt, wenn an den elektrischen Anschlüssen (41, 42, 43, 51, 52, 53) der mindestens einen zweiten Montagefläche (04, 05) eine elektrische Spannung angelegt ist.
