Abstract: A copolymer consisting of the following monomers is used as a solubilizing agent: (a) 5-99 wt.% of at least one N-vinyl carboxamide (I), (b) 1-95 wt.% of at least one monomer with a hydrophobic group, and (c) 0-94 wt.% of at least one other comonomer.
