Abstract:
The invention relates to cosmetic or pharmaceutical agents having a liquid or gel consistency and containing at least one copolymer that, in turn, contains at least one N-vinyl lactam and at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer with a longer-chain alkyl radical or alkenyl radical, said N-vinyl lactam and monomer being incorporated by polymerization in the copolymer. The invention also relates to the use of copolymers of the aforementioned type in cosmetic or pharmaceutical compositions.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the use of water-soluble copolymers consisting of such characteristic structural elements as a) acrylic acid amide of the general formula (I), where R et R stand, independently of each other, for H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or aralkyl, and b) units of the general formula (II), where A represents a chemical bond or an alkyl group, the R residues stand, independently of each other, for H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or arakyl or, together with the nitrogen atom to which they are linked, an aromatic or non aromatic five to seven member heterocyclic ring, possibly mono- or polysubstituted, possibly containing one or two more heteroatoms chosen from among O, N or S, and capable of being annelated with another aromatic or non aromatic five to seven member ring, and R represents H, alkyl or aralkyl. The invention also pertains to cosmetics containing said polymers. 00000
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for producing solid dosage forms by mixing at least one polymer binder, possibly at least one active substance and possibly the usual additives, as well as products derived from this mixture, of which at least one component is added in liquid state. 00000
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing solid forms of administration by means of melt extrusion. A polymer binder, at least one pharmaceutical active agent and optionally, other additives are mixed and the mixture is melted in an extruder and then extruded in the form of a continuous plastic product strand. The inventive method is characterised in that the extruder used is a planetary roller extruder (10) which preferably has one central spindle (13) and six planetary spindles (14).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing solid dosing forms by mixing at least one polymeric binding agent, at least one active substance, and optional common additives while producing a plastic mixture and during shaping, whereby a copolymer from a N-vinyl lactam and from an copolymerizable monomer with a hydrophobic radical is used as a polymeric binding agent. Dosing forms which slowly release the active substance are obtained in a simple and economical manner.
Abstract:
Solid dosage forms are obtained by mixing at least one polymeric binder, at least one active ingredient, and, where appropriate, conventional additives to form a plastic mixture, and shaping, using as polymeric binder a copolymer of an N-vinyllactam and a copolymerizable monomer having a hydrophobic radical. Dosage forms which show slow release of the active ingredient are obtained in a simple and low-cost manner.
Abstract:
A cosmetic composition comprising water-soluble copolymer, which as characteristic structural elements comprisesa) vinylcarboxamide units of the general formula IwhereR1 and R2 independently of one another are H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or aralkyl, andb) units of the general formula IIwhereA is a chemical bond or an alkylene group, the radicals R3 independently of one another are H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or aralkyl, or together with the nitrogen atom to which they are bonded, form an unsubstituted, mono- or polysubstituted, five- to seven-membered, heterocyclic, aromatic or nonaromatic ring, which if appropriate contains one or two further heteroatoms, selected from among O, N and S, it being possible for the heterocyclic ring to be fused to a further five- or six-membered, aromatic or nonaromatic ring,R4 is H, alkyl or aralkyl.
Abstract:
Solid dosage forms are produced from a plastic mixture obtained by processing a polymeric binder with active agent under controlled conditions which reduce the initial K value (Fikentscher) of the binder of above 75 by less than 15. Production of solid dosage forms comprises: (a) preparing a plastic mixture from polymeric binder(s) with a K value (Fikentscher) above 75, active agent(s) and optionally conventional additives under temperature and shearing energy input conditions which reduce the molecular weight degradation of the binder by less than 15 K; and (b) forming the plastic mixture into the dosage forms.
Abstract:
A solid dosage form contains a copolymer of an N-vinyl-lactam and methyl methacrylate, having a limited water uptake, as polymeric binder. A solid dosage form comprises least one polymeric binder, at least one active agent (A) and optionally conventional additives, where the binder is a copolymer of at least one N-vinyl-lactam of formula (I) (10-60 wt. %) with methyl methacrylate (40-90 wt. %), having a water uptake on swelling of less than 50 wt. % (based on the weight of the binder). n = 1-3. An Independent claim is included for the preparation of the dosage form, by mixing the components (directly or after preliminary melting) and shaping the obtained plastic mixture into the required dosage form.
