    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize effective weak light irradiation in a vegetable chamber in a refrigerator for the purpose of keeping freshness of green leaf vegetables. SOLUTION: A container 25 is provided for mainly containing leaf vegetables in one compartment in a vegetable chamber 17, upward of which container 25 a weak light irradiation apparatus 26 is disposed, whereby effective irradiation to leaf vegetables is ensured. The container 25 can contain vegetables permitting them to stand vertically, and can arrange the vegetables at a front surface of the vegetable chamber 17, and further can irradiate the entire of the vegetables from an upper portion, and furthermore allows the vegetables to be taken out with ease. For the weak light irradiation a red colored LED26c outputting about 660 nm wavelength light is employed to improve efficiency of photosynthesis and suppress heat production.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storing method for food and refrigerator, using the storing method with the preservation and taste properties of food and ease of use. SOLUTION: A temperature-changing chamber 6, for keeping room temperature within -10 deg.C±2 deg.C is provided in addition to a freezer for setting the room temperature to -18 deg.C or lower, thus newly providing improved taste property and ease of use in addition to a preservation property when storing short-term storage food with a high flow property, and hence increasing the function value of a refrigerator. In addition, in combination with the conventional freezer being set to -18 deg.C or lower, classification can be made according to the kind and preservation period of the food, thus increasing practical ease of, and saving energy.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit ice making employing tasteful water, into which mineral constituents are added, for a long period of time by a method wherein the mineral constituents in particles having mineral constituents are added to water in a feed water tank through a mineral elution device while the ice making is effected by the water, into which the mineral constituents are added. SOLUTION: A mineral elution device is provided with a mineral elution agent 11 and an opening 12 while calcium sulfite is employed as the calcium constituent of the mineral elution agent 11. The solubility of calcium carbonate in water per unit time is 0.72 g/l while the solubility of calcium sulfite in water per unit time is 0.0049 g/l, which is lower than that of the calcium carbonate, and, as a result, the mineral constituents can be eluded for more long period of time. Accordingly, the mineral constituents can be eluded into the water for a long period of time whereby ice making can be effected for a long period of time employing the tasteful water, into which the mineral constituents are added.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a door surface of good quality by forming an urethane heat insulating material from a particular composition and forming the door surface from a graft copolymer of a particular composition, a copolymer of a vinyl compound cyanide of a particular composition and an aromatic vinyl compound, and a mixture of a resin compound of a particular composition and polymethyl metacrylate. CONSTITUTION:A urethane heat insulating material is formed by polyol, a foam stabilizer, a catalyst, a foaming agent such as HCFC 132 and the like, and an isocyanate component such as an organic isocyanate of polymeric MDI. A door surface of a resin is formed by a graft copolymer which is obtained by polymerizing a mixture of a vinyl compound cyanide of 35-52 percent by weight and an aromatic vinyl compound of 48-65 percent by weight in the presence of conjugate diene based synthetic rubber, a copolymer of a vinyl compound cyanide of 35-52 percent by weight and an aromatic vinyl compound of 48-65 percent by weight, and a resin composite of 30-70 percent by weight coated with the copolymer and mixed with poly n-butylacrylate resin and polymethyl methacrylate of 70-30 percent by weight.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To acquire a strong chemical attaching property, and prevent cracks, etc., from happening by a method wherein a urethane insulating material for which a specified flon is used as a foaming agent is integrally expanded in a box-shaped space formed by a door front made of a resin, and a specified coating is applied on the surface of the door front with which the insulating material comes into contact. CONSTITUTION:The title heat insulating door 2 is constituted by integrally expanding a urethane insulating material 4 for which flon 123 or flon 141b is used as a foaming agent in a box-shaped space being formed by a door front 3 made of a resin. Also, an acryl or urethane coating 9 is applied on the surface of the door front 3, which comes into contact with the urethane insulating material 4. For the acryl or urethane coating 9, a double liquid reacting type is used, and this type is hard to swell by the flon 123 or flon 141b, which is a foaming agent, and is provided so as to work as a barrier. By this method, the door front 3 made of a resin does not receive a strong chemical attack, and the molecular chain of the resin is prevented from being broken, and cracks are prevented from being made.
