    Abstract: PURPOSE: To reproduce the outside envelope contour of a casing section made higher by providing respective projecting parts at the casing section. CONSTITUTION: Concerning the casing half of a compact cassette K1, casing sections 45 and 46, of which the inside is made flat, extended into the range of higher casing sections 10a and 10b respectively have the projecting parts formed as rib sections 47 outside. The rib section 47 is composed of a short rib 48 and U-shaped, for example, ribs 49a and 49b longer than the section of a tape recorder existent inside the range of an opening 50 for positioning. The front side plane of a front wall 6 is extended by full face extension parts 51a and 51b within this range so as to reach the standard height of higher casing sections of the compact cassette.

CONSTITUTION: Many magnets are arranged on the peripheral surface 6 of a magnetic drum 3 in such a manner that their polarities are alternated. The magnetic fields of these magnets are acted on the dispersion 2 by rotating the magnetic drum 3.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To generate a difference in pressure between an upper side and a lower side of a web made of a web material, for example, a photographic film or paper or magnetic tape in a region of a pair of rollers of a hollow suction means. CONSTITUTION: Respective wedges for air-tightness are arranged in a free space 10 between rollers 2 and 3 on both sides on the outside from outer fringes of the rollers so that they pass below a fringe of a part 5 in which a web floats, and a shape of a cross section of the wedge for air-tightness copies an indicated surface of the roller and is at a short distance from a support face of the roller. In a preferable embodiment, the wedge for air-tightness is hollowed like a tank and is extended by leaving and lowering in the direction of the center of the web and crossing the direction of travel.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a layer of 1μm thick or less by disposing a rectangular prism magnet such that lines of magnetic force pass through a block having upper surface extending in parallel with the outlet opening of a molding slit substantially perpendicularly to the flowing direction of magnetic dispersion liquid. SOLUTION: A nonmagnetic carrying layer 4 runs in the direction of arrow in the vicinity of outlet opening 7 of an extrusion molder having upper and lower blocks 3, 1, and a molding slit 2 made between. At the outlet opening, a magnetic dispersion liquid is squeezed, under pressure, from a storage container onto the carrying layer through the slit. A rectangular prism magnet 8 is disposed having field strength at least equal to the coercive force of fine magnetic powder flowing through the molding slit 2 in parallel with the upper plane 12 of lower block 1 while spaced apart by about 2 mm from the lower half part. The magnet is polarized such that the lines of magnetic force pass substantially perpendicularly to the magnetic layer forming direction of magnetic dispersion liquid.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To easily disperse and simultaneously easily orient ferromagnetic powder by packing the ferromagnetic powder into the pore spaces of porous and non-magnetic mineral skeleton materials having the pore spaces dug in parallel or almost in parallel. CONSTITUTION: An inorganic skeleton materials are formed of crystal isopoly or heteoisopoly oxide, carbide, nitride, or oxide having plural pore spaces. The pore spaces of the mineral skeleton materials are arranged in parallel or almost in parallel, preferentially, like a symmetrical hexagonal honeycomb structure. Then, ferromagnetic partitles such as chrome dioxide and ferrite are packed into the pore spaces of the mineral skeleton materials. Thus, the ferromagnetic particles can be easily dispersed and easily oriented.
