Abstract: PURPOSE: A variable power drive control system is provided to enable a railway vehicle to travel directly without exchange of a railway vehicle by corresponding elastically according to a railway system and a power supply manner of each nation. CONSTITUTION: A serial-to-parallel voltage converting circuit is connected to a variable power supply line. Four inverters are connected to form a serial circuit and a parallel circuit and invert a polarity of a power signal from the serial-to-parallel voltage converting circuit so as to supply current needed for a railway vehicle travel to electric motors. When a DC power of 3000V is supplied from the variable power supply line, the inverters whose regulated voltage of a DC link terminal is 750V, are connected in series by the serial-to-parallel voltage converting circuit, so that the DC power of 3000V is converted into a DC power of 1500V. When a DC power of 1500V is supplied from the variable power supply line, the inverters whose regulated voltage of a DC link terminal is 750V, are connected in parallel by the serial-to-parallel voltage converting circuit, so that the DC power of 3000V is converted into a DC power of 750V.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A signal conversion system of a railway vehicle is provided to reduce a period of time for forming and installing a total system by collecting signal converters at a predetermined place. CONSTITUTION: A signal conversion system of a railway vehicle includes a sensor, a terminal box, a multi-channel converter, a power supply, and a measurement unit. Abstract: PURPOSE: An electrical load unit of a power converter is provided to reduce the test cost by simplifying a load test of an inverter for vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A smoothing reactor is used as a load of a test target. The current due to a difference between an output voltage of a tester and an output voltage of the test target is applied to both ends of the smoothing reactor. A user obtains the current of the test target as the desired current by controlling the output voltage of the test target. A current controller is used for controlling the output voltage of the test target. A load test is smoothly performed by using a feed forward control block. The feed forward control block is used as the current controller. The smoothing reactor is connected to an inverter as the test target.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An electrical inertia load control device having a gate driver for protecting IGBT(Isolation Gate Bipolar Transistor) element is provided to prevent a breakdown of the IGBT element by interrupting effectively over-current and over-voltage generated from a switching process of an inverter. Abstract: PURPOSE: An over current sensor for protecting an inverter of the vehicle is provided to prevent an over current from flowing the inside of the inverter for the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An over current sensor for protecting an inverter of the vehicle comprises a current sensor, a different input circuit unit, a rectifying circuit unit, and a hysteresis circuit unit. The current sensor detects an input current at the input terminal of the inverter. The different input circuit maintains stably the output voltage of the current sensor.
