Abstract:
PURPOSE: A bumper assembly for vehicles is provided to improve the durability by mounting each crash box to face front and lateral sides from the front surface of the vehicle, dispersing and absorbing shock energy, and minimizing the deformation of a vehicle side member. CONSTITUTION: A bumper assembly (100) for vehicles comprises a first side member (110), a second side member (120), a fender member (130), a member flange (140), a mounting flange (150), a first crash box (160), a second crash box (170), and a bumper beam (180). The member flange is connected to the front end of the first and second side members. The rear end of the first and second crash boxes are connected to the mounting flange. Both sides of the bumper beam are connected to the front end of the first and second crash boxes.

PURPOSE: A crash box structure for a car is provided to improve an absorption rate of impact energy in a low-speed crash because the bead of the peripheral surface of a crash box is formed at an angle. CONSTITUTION: A crash box structure for a car comprises a crash box(300) which is installed between side members(100) and a bumper(200). An outer part(320) of the crash box is formed at an angle so that the diameter of the crash box gradually increases from the rear section thereof connected to the side members to the leading end thereof connected to the bumper.

Abstract:
Disclosed is a shock absorber for a vehicle which includes a bumper beam which is formed in the shape of a beam in which the hollow cross section thereof is extended in the width direction of a vehicle and a crash box which is placed between a rear surface and a vehicle body in both sides of the bumper beam. The rear surface on both sides of the bumper beam includes an opening which is formed to connect to the hollow cross section and a rib which is formed in an opening in a width direction. The crash box includes a front end which is extended to the inside of the hollow cross section by being inserted through the opening while being inserted into the rib and a rear end which is mounted on the vehicle body, thereby improving the collision performance of a vehicle.
